EastVita Black Vertical Stand fpr PS4 Sony PlayStation 4

The stand does what is claimed and stands the ps4 vertical. But the stand looks kinda cheap and I noticed a difference in the performance of my ps4. When you stand the ps4 vertical you do so by snapping on this stand to one side of fans. Now even though this stand has vent slots the stand is so low that I felt it still put additional pressure on the console. Right away in the vertical position my ps4 was louder and the disk drive seemed to be working harder. Now it could be me taking too much notice but if I never noticed any noise before when the console was laying flat then I must have noticed some difference...and no I wasn't trying to hear for a difference I just did. Also the stand is very lightweight and the ps4 quite heavy for this stand. I'm not saying the ps4 will tip over but just that the odds don't sound so good. Heavy console, cheap stand, ps4 standing on one side of fans/vents, disk drive etc. you get the picture. Just to be safe I'm going to keep my ps4 laying flat for my and the console's sake.

i have a desk with limited space for a monitor, speakers w/ subwoofer & ps4 setup. previously had the ps4 placed horizontally under a subwoofer with the bass shooting downward on a cheap plastic enclosure of the ps4 to the point it would vibrate in distress (wish to have space for a subwoofer on the floor). this vertical stand provides a solution below are the pros & cons.pros: appears stable, economical,cons: non-ambidexterity, reduced cooling efficiency,

I love this stand for the PS4. I do not have much room on my entertainment center and had to temporarily disconnect some other equipment to have room for my PS4 until I bought this. It fits snugly onto the bottom and does not fall off when you move the system or pick it up. Has enough of a base to keep the system stable but small enough to not take up much space. Not too sure how much the ventilation slots do since they are all facing down and would be venting straight into whatever surface you have the PS4 on. The only problem I have is not with the vertical stand but I guess more with the PS4 itself. I have noticed that my PS4 runs significantly louder (more fan noise) when vertical. I am not sure what exactly is causing it since I have not noticed any overheating or anything related to poor ventilation other than the increased fan. I have tried it out with several different games and the system consistently runs louder when it is vertical. I have read about others having the same issue with increased fan noise with there vertical standing systems as well so it does not seem to be anything related to the quality of this vertical stand. Just something to keep in mind if you are looking to stand your PS4 vertically. If you do not have the room and need to get a vertical stand, I definitely recommend this one but if you are just doing it for looks or don't really need to stand it upright then I would keep your PS4 horizontal to decrease strain on the fan.

the stand is a tougher plastic but it tilts at the top like it may fall over. I think it would be better just to have the PS4 on its side by itself. it seems very unsteady in the stand and does not got high up on the ps4, which means its barely on there. I would NOT buy this item, but I would buy from the customer again.

I've read some reviews complaining that it does not fit properly.Know that it will not "click" into place or fit snug, this just basically allows you to mount your ps4 vertically without worrying if it's going to fall on it's side. No worries, It will not.However, if your PS4 is exposed to kids, dogs, cats, or someone clumsy and they happen to bump on it, it will fall out of the mount on it's side.

Better priced than the official stand and works as stated. The PS4 fits snugly and doesn't rock about or move. It's well designed for the price and strongly recommended to free up space around your TV. The PS4 is generally loud when reading Bluray discs and I didn't notice any difference in noise when the PS4 is standing upright. Design-wise, it's clean and simple and doesn't have any logos on the front, which I really like.Pros:-Strong and seemingly durable. 2 large no-skid/slide pads on the bottom. Sony build quality for accessories is sometimes questionable and I sometimes feel likely I'm paying a premium price on marginal design.-Clean design without any eye-sore logos-Inexpensive and cheaper than the official PS4 stand-USB ports and backside cables remain easily accessible from within the stand.Cons:-None so far

This stand did not live up to the expectations I had from other reviews at all. This product doesn't line up with the ps4 so it doesn't fit and it slides around on my desk. Very disappointed.
