Victory Girls: Patriotic Quilts and Rugs of WWII Paperback – September 20, 2011

I'm a big fan of Polly & Laurie! Their patterns are usually patriotic in some sense, probably because of their color choices. This book was special to me because of the history given with the projects. Good job! I recommend this book to any quilter or rug hooker who is interested in a semi-primitive look with a patriotic bent. Take a look!

Very pleased with another folk art book for my craft projects in the future, I highly recommend the book to who so ever quilts or hook rugs.

I was really looking forward to this book but was a little disappointed by the projects. Wish they had more items, still nice to add to your collection if their books.

My intent is to make a quilt of WWII and women's role in its support. I fell in love with the woman batter initially but soon discovered the entire book is chock full of wonderful memories our parents and grandparents shared with us. Can't wait to get started!

Great book!

Our library has a basket raffle each year. We filled the basket with items that went with "Killing Patton." The "Victory Girls" book followed this theme. Quilting is very popular in our town.

Lots of FUN quilting & wool {patriotic} patterns in this book...glad I bought it! I would recommend it to anyone who loves anything red-white and blue and a little "patriotic history" as well!
