My Brother's Husband, Volumes 1 & 2: Eisner Award

I heard this graphic book from a gay reading club. Then I bought it from Amazon. I read this in two sittings. It’s a good story. There were tears in my eyes when I read this book. Is very touching and heart warming. The culture is so different in East Asia. Gays will face more difficulties in their lives. I’m glad to see things are changing for the better for LGBTQ communities in Japan, Taiwan, and Thailand.

I love this graphic novel and I bought it without knowing anything about it. I feel it's a book every gay man should own and every ally should aswell. It's is not sexual in anyway and just shows the hard truths of what it's like to be the partner of a gay sibling after they die. It's sad and wonderful and made me cry at times

This series was absolutely beautiful. It is one of my favorites I've read in a long time. The journey they all went through together to form the sweet little family that they did was touching, and very realistic. This story is 100 percent worth the read as well.

Very touching story. Illustrations are impeccable. There's so much soul in the characters it's impossible to not fall in love with them.

This is an amazing heartwarming book! I highly recommend this for anyone in the LGBT community and their family members. It really shows how people can grow and change. And the inner thoughts for Yuichi give a different perspective from how a lot of other LGBT books handle straight characters, especially uncomfortable family members.Must read!

I bought this only interested in seeing something this from a Japanese person's perspective, and it was interesting for that reason. The art was only so-so for me (although admittedly well-done), and the story was fun. It's probably not something that's going to be in my brain for a long time, but then again, it's pretty different from what I usually read.I would recommend.

This is the second time I have read - and been utterly absorbed by - this book. With its profound character transformations and powerfully emotive graphics, it’s a masterpiece, a must read.

This is an adorable story. I loved it.

I bought this after having seen it online. From the perspective of a hetero male, this book has a charming and well-written story that pairs perfectly w/the illustrations. I'm sure it would make an awesome gift for almost any LGBTQ+ person, an ally or someone just looking to read something that's both heart-breaking and incredibly sweet.

Another masterpiece from G.T. The story is well written. Gives a great insight to the struggles of and misconceptions about LGBTQ people. The journey of the characters was amazing. A must read for everybody.

Shows human feelings and experience with care and sensitivity. Fascinating story about situation of gay people in Japan and about human feelings in general.
