Heyner Fits: Mercedes Vito W447 Models 2014 To 2022 Wiper Blades Hybrid Set HH2818TLM

I have a three year old Vito and have had an amazing life from the original fitted wiper blades. I did notice a slight deterioration lately, so decided to change the blades. After a bit of research; I thought I would give the Heyner blades a try. They are good value, I thought they were a really fair price. They arrived promptly and well wrapped with a sheet included with links (both QR code and URL) to videos on YouTube showing how to both remove old blades and the change of the adaptor to fit the Heyner blades. The videos were not too long and gave perfect explanation. I fitted the new blades, including removal of the old blades and adaptors in about ten minutes. It was straightforward and the new blades work amazingly well. There is no squeak or screech when in use and they glide nicely and remove all liquid on the screen amazingly well. In my opinion they are even better than the original blades. I would recommend them.

Wipers are great. I have no issues there. So why the 4 stars and not 5? Fitting. Some of it is down to the factory fit merc ones, which isn't down to Heyner, but some is on fitting new ones, which is.I needed two small flat bladed screwdrivers to remove the old clips as the locking tabs were very stiff, and I had to be very careful. Not Heyner's fault. If I didn't care about breaking them I could have snipped them, but didn't want to ruin any chances of refitting the old blades.On fitting, the key thing to know is that you need to fit the clips fully to the wiper arms before you clip the blades in. Otherwise the blades can come out.

Watched the video on how to fit , all very straight forwards, a five minute job . Only recently fitted but seem to work very well.

A box inside a wrapper inside a box...c'mon amazon think of the planet.Used these wipers for 18mths now, this is 3rd set, not that they're rubbish, I change them frequently due to the milage I cover (approx 10k a month).They perform well, easy to fit and are cheaper that branded blades...win-win.

I just went back to my orders to get another set for my V class. I'm in shock it was almost 3 years ago when I purchased my current set that still works okay just became noisy! I do 25k miles per year so not an easy life for the wipers. Also they are still at the same price 😁
