I bought these lights for use as spot/flood lights for my SUV. I mounted them on a license plate bracket (iJDMTOY AA3117 Universal Fit Bull Bar Style Black Painted Stainless Steel Front Bumper License Plate Mount Bracket Holder- Recommended!) that I also bought here on Amazon.That was my first foray into fog/spot lights for night driving. It worked well. I had them on my truck for about a year before I upgraded to a Rigid Spot/fog light setup (highly recommended!!).If you're purchasing these lights for near-field use, this is the ticket! In general, LED's are not known for projecting light into deep distances but if you're looking to cast light 50 or 60 feet ahead of your vehicle, you're good to go. In the near-field these lights excel. Also side to side coverage is excellent.The lights are bright white with a blue hue to them so I would say we're dealing with 5k to 6k range in terms of color.I bought a second set of these lights for my wife's truck as we are both in need of additional lighting when we drive at night. Especially since many of the roads where we live are very poorly lit.The trick is to keep these lights mounted below your driving lights and this way you're not blinding on coming cars and you're lighting the road best by positioning the lights lower to the ground.The other item I would like to point out is that the hardware that they supply with the lights are made of zinc and will eventually rust. I replaced all of the hardware with stainless and I clear coated the brackets which the lights bolt to so they doesn't rust either.As far as price is concerned, if these lights last a few years I think you've gotten your money's worth out of them. They're not expensive by any measure. I keep an extra set on hand if they become damaged or the LED's blow out.I also bought the Nirider 12V 40A Rock Switch Relay Fuse Nylon Wiring Harness Kit here on Amazon and that mates up real well with these lights unless you decide to wire them into your bright lights which I don't recommend. I think that the bright lights and the fog lights should be on separate circuits with your fog/spot lights having their own switch to control them. For the price, I am quite pleased. They dont come with any wiring kit, but thats fine at this price point. They actually shine quite far, but the best part is the width of the beam. Its got multiple angles of the LEDS so it covers a huge area. I like it most because it lights up the road on the tight turns in the dark where my headlights dont see. Only minor dislike I have is that the stainless steel is low quality, and has a very slight rust on it. Nothing a bit of oil wont help. Once again its good for the price.

They are bright. Definitely good flood lights. I'm going to rate four out of five stars because after I got my lights I found out that one of them did not work. That being said for the price point I'm not upset. I use these lights when I drive on the back roads they work great for avoiding animals. However it appears there is somebody upset with my order... the local sheriff. He noticed the haze of my lights while I was heading toward a hill. I noticed the haze of headlights in front of me so I shut my lights off. Nope not good enough for him he hits his high beams and damn near blinds me. Okay whatever dick. Then I see him trying to pull a u-turn IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD. Nope. I hit the gas turn off into somebody's driveway fipped my lights off. Then I see him tearing down the road after me 😂🤣😂🤣😂 boy I guarantee he was pissed.Anyway. Pretty solid purchase for the price 👍

My wife hit a deer with our Hummer H3.The factory fog lights were $150 a pair.So I mounted these lights in place of the factory ones. They are brighter than the factory GM lights.Easy to mount, very bright. Saved me $130 VS buying oem replacements. They look better and are brighter than stock ones.

I am using these (I bought 28) as outdoor landscape lighting and, while I like the brightness and reasonable price, they are definitely NOT waterproof and I can't imagine they are rated IP68 legitimately. I sealed them before installation with Boatlife Life Calk (Liquid) and still 8 of them filled with condensation and burned out. Also, the brackets/bolts APPEAR to be stainless steel but they have rusted within 2 weeks of installation.

I bought these in 2020 was really impressed by the light quality and brightness.Now in 2022 about half the LEDs don't work, one is has a few flickering LEDs that is distracting while driving. The base material rusts.I only use them in snow blizzards and fog, expected them to last longer, my factory bulbs lasted 17 years.

I bought these for my 2007 and 2017 Forester for additional lighting on the highway and off-road mountain trails and I must say I really like them! Right now I only have them on my 2017 and they seem to be brighter than the OEM. Definitely see the floodlight effect in pitch black areas really well, but also in the dark in general. I am considering mounting a 3rd one to make it even brighter, but the two alone work well. I drove from Colorado to Texas in a bit of rain, but so far I have not experienced any leakage.

They were easy to install and bright, WHILE THEY LASTED. After less than a year, one filled up with water and the lens for the other fell off. Can't handle the return through Amazon, you have to go to their website. I tried to submit a warranty claim through their website and their website is broken, would not even let me submit a claim or message.
