Benji & I really liked this soap! I never used a shampoo and conditioner on my dog before this but this will be the brand we will use, moving forward. Benji smelled like bare💩 and he needed a bath super bad after playing in mud. I applied this soap on him and it lathered beautifully. I gave him a total of 3-4 washes/ rinses (Benji loves bath time lol) and his short coat was super soft and manageable afterwards. The smell was amazing and completely cleaned him up well. Best dog soap we’ve ever used! The lavender really does soothe him and the fact that this has oatmeal also works for Benji’s sensitive skin. Using this product makes me curious to want to try the other products they make for my baby Benji ❤️

We have a Border Collie and Labrador mix, and when she was a puppy, she was so hyper when we gave her a bath that we used no-tears baby shampoo because we were so afraid of getting it in her eyes. I knew we should be using a dog shampoo, instead, because the pH of a dog's skin is different from a human's, but I was sort of overwhelmed with the options. Looking at lists of best dog shampoos didn't help me pinpoint a specific brand, as they all named different ones, but it did tell me what to look for.I set out to look for something that was both a shampoo and conditioner, with natural ingredients, hypoallergenic, for sensitive skin, and which included oatmeal, since those were the qualities shared by the best shampoos I found listed on various lists. Buddy's Best checked all my boxes, plus it has a scent I like.I'm so glad I ordered it! It has a light, pleasant smell when it comes out of the bottle, but it didn't leave our dog smelling like she was perfumed. It made a nice lather and cleaned her well, but also rinsed right out quite easily, leaving no weird film behind. We couldn't believe how soft and shiny it left her coat--she's black with a white bib and one white foot, and her black coat looked like we'd sprayed something shiny in it when she was in the sun. We watched her carefully for days to see if she was itching, but it caused her no irritation at all.The bottle is a generous size, so it should last us a long time, but when it's time to re-order, I'll again be buying Buddy's Best.

Just got this today and gave my American Staffordshire terrier mix a bath and this stuff is awesome sauce!! Smells so good and her coat is shiny and soft as ever. EVERYTHING I’ve tried to bathe her with has always made her skin irritated and red! But her skin looks even more soothed then it was before! I am super impressed and will be buying again!

Smells so good. More coconut than vanilla. Lathers really well and rinses easy. May doggies were so soft and shiny

I love this shampoo for my pitty mix who is about 4 months old. She has a very thin, short coat and experienced lots of dry skin and flaking. We tried the Burt's Bees puppy shampoo, which was okay, but did not lather as well. This shampoo does a great job of getting a good lather, so I know she is getting clean. Love the lavender scent! She always comes out so smooth and soft and I can tell her skin is more moisturized and less flaky. Only downfall was when it came, the bottle had leaked a bit and I needed to rinse it off.

My Labrador has been using a shampoo from her dermatologist for years but it was discontinued. She has very sensitive skin. I mean, she sees a dermatologist for crying out loud. She seems to be doing well with this shampoo, no reactions. It is leaving her coat softer than her old shampoo too. The scent is good, very subtle. All I can say to the reviews that say their pets reacted is my dog has had her fair share of reactions. Like humans, not every product is right for everyone. You just have to find what works.

I loved the smell, the way the product lathered up, and the soft silky hair it produced. I have five Shih Tzu's mixes and two have sensitive skin. The two with the sensitive skin have been itching like crazy since I bathed them with this product. One of the two is actually loosing clumps of hair. The three that don't have sensitive skin seem to be doing fine with this product. I have only bathed them once with it so I am wondering about long term use on the three that don't have sensitive skin.

I have a 3 month old Australian Shepard puppy who had an extremely dry and dull coat. He had lots of matting in his hind end and in the top of his tail. This is the before and after with ONE USE of Buddy’s Best shampoo!! His coat is 10x softer after one use and he smells like a vanilla bean even a day after washing him. I was able to comb out tons of dead and brittle hair after bathing him and he looks like a completely different puppy. I’m so happy with this product and would highly recommend it!! I will continue to use it to strengthen his coat, and also soothe his itchy/dry skin since it seemed to help that a lot as well.

Update: so Dex had his 1st bath with his fancy shampoo. This is a phenomenal product. Cuts through dirt, & little boy stink. He's fluffy & clean - more importantly not itchy. I brush him daily, but this shampoo loosened so much more fluff. Will definitely be using this in the future for his tub time. Thank you for such a great product.I've got a GSD with sensitive, itchy skin & have been looking for a cleansing, yet gentle shampoo without harsh chemicals. Found this online as one of the top shampoos for 2023. I tried it on myself before my baby boy, as I have really bad allergies. All I can say is "WOW!!". Deep, gentle cleaning leaving my hair so damn soft without any additional conditioner. The scent is very subtle which I really appreciate & it doesn't linger...if I wanted doggie perfume I'd get him some. Having tried it, I'm super excited for puppy bath day (not sure he's that excited). Now I just wish Amazon carried the gallon jug that's available on Buddy's website. 🛁

As others have noted there isn’t much scent after shampoo. It’s sudsy and it cleans so if you don’t want any smell this is good. I added isle of sky conditioner to help my havanese keep her silky hair. It smells good too.

Pearl colour, nice smell, easy wash and removeall dirt. After wash my dog have silky coat no tangled andpure white. It’s best shampoo so far.
