Best spin mop I have used!
I have had several spin mops, but this is the lightest, simplest and most useful so far. I don't always take "Amazon's Choice," but this unit had what i wanted after the bearing in my old spin mop froze and left me "mopless". First, it has a stainless steel spin basket. Second, it lacks a foot pedal, which requires a one-way bearing and a seal to the foot mechanism, and third, it had a stainless steel handle. All of these details make it more durable, even though the bucket is light plastic. The foot pedal was always a problem for me, and usually had to be repaired after a month of use. With no foot pedal, a two-way bearing is more durable, requires no seal, and reduces the weight. I realized that in reviewing some very expensive models, no foot pedal was provided. The reviewers who complain do not understand how to use the spin mop. After you fill the tank to the level of the pillar (about a gallon) and add 3 oz of Armstrong Once n Done, you loosen the latch on the handle and CENTER the mop in the water side, then push the handle down firmly, wetting the mop with a few turns. Lock the handle latch and wet the floor with a spinning motion--in either direction, covering as much floor as you can handle and letting it stand for 5 minutes. Then replace the mop in the water side and slowly spin a few times again. Then loosen the handle latch and place the mop in the spin basket, being careful to center and match the mop base to the center insert. Now forcefully push down repeatedly, 2 or 3 times per second, getting up to 600 rpm. This removes 95% of the water in the mop--which can hold 1 liter of water. Finally, wipe up the cleaning water in a spinning motion at about 45 degrees (or until the mop spins easily.) Repeat until the room is finished. I wear a clean pair of sketchers to wet the whole floor, then wipe it dry--in several spin cycles. I do three small rooms in 20 minutes. No disposables other than the cleaning solution and the water. There is no better method!

More than I expected
I used to have the red Rotomop that you could buy at Menards. It was the best mop I ever used. But, like all good things after 5 years, it broke. They don't sell the Rotomap anymore. I looked for a new mop that would be similar. This one is a little different, it has a soap dispenser and you can actually spin the mop in the water to rinse it! I like this one better than my original Rotomop. If you are looking to replace your old Rotomap or just looking for a new one, no need to hesitate.

Love this mop! “The things we say as adults”
This is a good spin mop I’ve had a couple of them and this is a definitely a good one not the best one I’ve had but a good one the little salt bottle thing is useless and will never get used in a waste of time so that’s not necessary don’t use that as a selling point if you’re planning on purchasing this it’s tiny and really has no purpose other than that it works well it does what it’s supposed to do and it makes mopping so much easier than the old way

Really nice mop
Works really well. Super easy to use. My floor look and feel super clean.Few things I wish it had. They have a sticker on the inside of the bucket for the max water line that come off after it gets wet. Wish this was molded into the plastic. They also don't include any information on washing the mop heads.

Don't waste your money
I used this exactly ONCE. Yes, it's lightweight. Yes, the mop spins well in both the water and the spinner. But the mops are supposed to be microfiber. I'm not sure WHAT they're made of but the mop head got sticky and stuck together as I mopped my plain, oil finished wood floor. As the mop stuck together, the central plastic (which does not get covered by the mop fibers) started scraping on my floor. So, now I was not only not cleaning the floor but actually scraping my floor. This is on the FIRST use. In addition, the mop handle does not lock securely at the height it is set--which is already too short for my 5'5" height to comfortably mop with. It doesn't lock securely so it gets even shorter as you mop. I used it once and am throwing the mop handle, bucket and all four mop heads into the trash. I am re-ordering the "Twist and Shout" mop that I ordered six years ago. I couldn't remember what I had ordered initially so ordered this one instead. After six years, the Twist and Shout mop handle stopped spinning easily so I'm getting a new one. I LOVE the "Twist and Shout" mop system. It is the best mop I've every used in 30 years of cleaning. It's so great that my cleaning lady ordered one for her home the first time she used it. Don't waste your money here, buy a mop that works

Not impressed
I ordered this because I simply could not see paying almost $60 for the name-brand version of this spin-mop and bucket set. I should have remembered that you get what you pay for. This isn't awful, but it's not very impressive. First of all, it's small. So small in fact, that it is hard to get the mop head wet, and even harder to spin it. Second, note that it does not have the foot-pump, like the more expensive brand. You wring the water out of the mop by twirling the handle of the mop in your hands. This would not be a problem if the bucket itself were bigger, to give you more room to do so. I do, however, like the drain plug in the side, although i have no idea what the little pump bottle is for. The mop itself is nice, and I do like that the set comes with four mop heads that are machine washable. Overall, yes, it does the job, but at $34, I think it is overpriced. I'll keep it and use it, but I would not buy another one or recommend it to someone else.

Excellent mop for my cleaning jobs
A family member of mine purchased this and they raved about how easy it is to use for floors, and even for spring & fall cleaning of walls. It wrings out in the bucket so you don't have excess water dripping all over the place. Use this mop weekly. Very happy with my purchase.
