Unisex-Child Bugaboot Plus Iv Omni-Heat Snow Boot

I bought these boots for my son thinking that Columbia was a reputable brand that would last. This has not been the case. Only had them for less than six months and they are already falling apart. Also my son’s feet would be soaking wet after wearing these in the snow and the liner on the inside is mildewing and smells horrible. Because they don’t keep his feet dry he now has a wart on one of his toes. I would not recommend these to anyone and next year definitely not buying Columbia brand.

I wear a size 38 shoe, so even though these are a children's size, they fit me. I normally wear 7.5-8 in adult US sizes. I love how I can just slip these on and go! I also use them for winter biking. They are easy to put on, and warm! I recommend them!

Have always had good luck with Bugaboots lasting 2 or 3 seasons until my kids outgrow them but even then they are still good enough to hand down to another child. They keep feet warm and dry. If anything the inside of the boot gets wet from sweating feet...my one child is a hot box. Buy buy them during the off season and a little bigger than expected, you can get 2 years out of them for about the same price as cheaper Walmart boots that are no where near the same quality.

Ive had bad experiences with columbia snow boots. I bought an adult pair for myself, and not even a year after getting them all the nylon eyelets were broken. Called Columbia about it and they told me i could take them to show repair place to get it fixed. So they provide lousy customer service. And sadly, these boots are what the person i bought them for wanted. Just like mine, they seem ok. Im not sure how warm they are, not sure how waterproof they are. They have a lace clasp so they dint have to be tied, which in my opinion is a great thing...to teach kids to be lazy and not have to tie their boots. So no, i dont care for that feature. Only had them forr a few weeks now, so i can't attest their quality. Like i said, thry seem ok ok now, but i am really skeptical. So for that im only giving them three stars.

Great product. My kid feels invincible in the boots. The insulation values are confusing. Tongue on each boot says 400g, the tags on the boots say 200g and website says 400g. Columbia says each boot is 200g for a combined value of 400g.

Keeps kids feet warm so that is 98% of what we need. Need a cuff or something to keep snow pants down and over the boot. Have resorted to tucking the gaiter of the snow pants into the boots, not the best method of keeping snow away from getting between socks and boots.

We've always had LL Bean boots with removable liners. At 10, I felt my daughter was ready for something more substantial for hiking and being active. This looked more like a boot I'd buy for myself. Overall, they seem great. The one flaw is that once they get wet inside, it's REALLY hard to dry them out. Without removable liners, I guess you need a boot dryer - and those get mixed reviews. We ended up buying a pair of the Bean boots and we rotate them depending on the use. Overall, I'm pleased with Columbia products. This is just an issue of how we use them. I don't think they leak, I think kids sweat and stuff wet socks in etc.

These boots look nice and are clearly well made.Our little guys managed to get them submerged in puddle the first day he wore them. It has been 4 days and the inside still has not dried at all. Not even at the top of the boot where it is completely exposed to the air. Not sure if they will ever dry, but they smell awful now.We are going to try running them through the washer and dryer, and will update the review if that works.

These boots are built extremely well and hold up against wear and tear through daily use. The bottom treads are super durable and hold up against a 10 year old stress test. All other boots we have bought for him have disintegrated or had the bottoms completely wear out to a point where there is no tread. These boots are the only boots that we have ever purchased for him that did not wear out. We ended up giving the pair friends and bought a larger size for our son.The materials are of high quality and protects the feet against the elements. The 400g of insulation and reflective material keep ls the feet warm. The outside skin of the boot is waterproof and the first pair we bought still looks new.The boot size fits exactly as specified for sizing and my son says the boot is overall very comfortable.The above reasons are why we have chosen to purchase another pair but in a larger size.Highly recommend.

My son loves his new boots! He usually wears winter Bogs however they were rubbing on his heel and although they fit nicely, he is big for age and so the part of the boot around his calves was not large enough and cause his foot to get stuck inside. These boots have a nice large opening at the calf that stretches open to easily remove his foot and there is lots of padding inside so nothing rubs.

Bought these boots for my son. Search page listed them as boys boots but after checking out they show as girls boots. Well they are grey and blue and were on at a great price. My son says they are the best boots he has ever had for comfort, warmth and being waterproof. Hope they hold up as no other cheaper boot we have tried has lasted more than 1 season.

Excellent boots! I saved a ton by being able to purchase these boots in Youth size 6. (I'm a Woman's size 7.) I snowshoe in them everyday! Super comfy and toasty! I loved them so much I bought them for my snowshoeing sister! She loves them, too!Crazy fast delivery!!!

If I could give a better star rating than 5 I would. My son is In love with these boots. It is so hard to find boots for him as he has a high top foot. These slip on like butter. Amazing will buy again and again. Highly recommend.
