KENDOSOUL Shinai Kendo Bamboo Sword Regular Grip Dobari Set of 2

When ordering shinai, consistency is key. I have ordered two sets, the first were absolutely perfect, the second (most recent) set are a regrettable purchase. Even knowing what 'factory second' conditions are, one of the shinai in the second batch would not pass inspection from any of the main online retailers for kendo equipment. There were numerous issues with two of the take (bamboo slats) and the lack of quality control leads me to believe these shinai are unsafe for general class use.

Use for Kendo daily exercises and practice. We’re reasonably priced. Sturdy and well made. Have used for a number of months, they have held up well, beginner level, so can’t speak to how they might hold up with more powerful and experienced users.

Feels light in the hand and moves well. Been practicing two hours a week for about a month with these they have held up well.

My son and I are really enjoying these Kendo Bamboo Swords. The craftsmanship is top notch.

I thoroughly enjoyed being able to spar with my brother, and have a healthy, fun way of exercising. I definitely am very happy with my purchase, and would recommend absolutely to anyone else looking for equipment to spar, and workout.
