These are not the thickest boards; not what I'm used to with Wilton boards, and the corners on my pack sort of curved downward, so I was a little worried they wouldn't stand up to the weight of the cake, but they worked fine for the 4 layer cake I made and didn't buckle when I quickly lifted it to put on my cake drum, which is all I really needed it to do. And in fairness, it was rather heavy with thick layers of fondant. For the price they're pretty good.

Unfortunately I did not open them to inspect ahead of time as the pack of cake boards were plastic wrapped sealed. Upon opening them, I discovered more than half had dark brown splatters across the top side of the cake boards. I didn't feel comfortable using them, so I tossed more than half and made a run to Walmart.

Perfect for my small cakes.
