I buy these to put on furniture for my cats
I love these pads. I started buying similar pads from a now defunct online pet store, fifteen years ago. I put them on my best furniture in the living room so that they can get up on any chair in the house. I like these pads from MidWest the best. They are warm and fuzzy and they also wash like a charm. I machine- wash them on gentle and dry them on low in the dryer. It changes the texture of the "wooly" side into what my cats and I consider more cat-friendly. I also use them on top of the mattresses in their beds to make them softer. The beds were quite expensive and I bought them many years ago and can't find any replacement for them. Since the mattresses still give them plenty of support, I put one of these pads on top and my cats enjoy them. They used to object to them being washed but after a few years, they decided a clean mattress wasn't so bad. I can't give them a better recommendation. ( Note: To give the company full credit, I said they are bite-proof but obviously, my cats don't chew them! :>) )

LOLA LIKES IT
Purchased this to use as a crate mat for Lola. It's fairly thick, fits perfectly in her kennel and it's machine washable. I just wish it was available in pink.

Fit crate perfectly
Very pleased with this and my old dog seems to like it too. Fits a 36" long crate perfectly and I think it will hold up over time. My dog is not a chewer so don't have to worry about that.

not as soft as my pup or I would like; otherwise good
Shipping was fast. pad seems to be standing up to my aggressive chewer but it's only been a couple of days. :-) The bed isn't as soft as I expected. My pup wasn't taking to it too well, other than his desire to chew and throw it around. So, I washed in cold water and tumbled dry low. It washed well. Still not as soft as I'd expect. Bottom line, mostly good, but improved softness would go a long way toward making it 5 star.

These pet beds will work out fine for my cats
From the very start, I have bought dog beds for my cats. I got them as kittens but I didn't like cat beds and found a marvelous extra-large dog bed that I really liked. When they were babies, they slept together but it soon became apparent that they needed their own beds. I discovered the company who made their first bed had stopped making dog beds. It took some time but I found three beds, very similar to their first, that had removable mattresses. That was important to me because the outside of their beds didn't need to be washed often but they sometimes spit up on their mattresses of pillows, as I found out they are called, and I liked to be able to machine wash and dry those separately. These beds have also been discontinued. Now the time has come that the mattresses have become too flat and lost their body. It's very hard to find dog or cat beds with removable, washable mattresses. I thought I'd try these pads under their mattresses until my husband pointed out that these beds are actually thicker than their mattresses had become. One cat is delighted with her new mattress but her brother feels otherwise and he's told me off a few times. I've just put this pad under his mattress and I think it will please him. Even if I eventually find new cat beds for them that I like, these pads won't go to waste. They're soft and comfortable and can be used on chairs or anywhere else they might like them. And I believe that they will wash very well, judging from comments and the number that have been bought.Update: February 12, 2020: Cats are like New England weather: If you don't like it; wait a minute and it will change! Both my twelve-year-old cats have decided they don't like their old mattresses at all and are now sleeping on these new mattresses in their beds. A third bed, identical to the other two, that I bought no pad for because the pad in it wasn't very flat, goes untouched. My male told me I needed to get a mattress/pad for that bed, as well, because he likes to sleep out there in the morning. He was very upset with me when I first bought the replacement mattresses in the first place! You just have to give them time to contemplate any change in their life and eventually, they just might tell you that you did a good job! So, I've ordered two more so I'll have a spare!

Terrific for Elderly Beagle; Bought Another One!
This is the second time I have purchased one of these, and the first is still in use. Last February my family greeted Beagle Bailey from Seattle Beagle Rescue. Bailey was almost 13 years old then. His owner had died, and he was grieving, and it must be said, also slightly grumpy toward Ox, the Oversized Beagle pup, who wanted to play too roughly with him. I was really just looking for something cheap because I figured we were just a way-station on his way to a "furever" home. So I ordered this because it would fit in a crate (he had to have a ton of medical stuff done), and once we got home I could yank it out of the crate and give him a cushioned place to lie on the floor by my chair.Well, of course Bailey grew on us--especially once medicated properly for incontinence and mood problems--and he's staying. There are three dog beds in the house, but guess what? He loves this one best. And so recently I realized why it is. A senior beagle--really any elderly dog with arthritis--doesn't want a super-soft bed, because they want to be able to turn around on it several times as instinct tells them to do. A very cushy dog bed makes it hard for an elderly dog to stay upright, but a relatively flat bed like this one is a stable surface for him to walk on. It's soft enough to cushion his old bones, but not soft enough to make his legs go out from under him.It doesn't hurt that it is easy to wash in the washing machine. (I don't know if it can go in the dryer, because I haven't tried. It air dries in about half a day or overnight, so there's been no reason for me to risk it.) As to reversible...well now, there's an attractive side and a plain white side. Let's think about this. Even if we towel them off when they come indoors in the wet months, who in her right mind is going to give her dog a white bed? No, the white side stays down and the blue side stays up. And that's fine. Our last child left the nest last month and I decided to celebrate by putting all my holiday wrapping supplies in her old room. Moved in a folding table to wrap on, added a comfy chair and table so I could sit down...but we needed two dog beds. I saw this one at the same bargain price as last time and I thought it was an obvious purchase. (I bought a softer bed for Ox, but I think he may prefer this one also. ) Unless this bed is discontinued or the price is raised dramatically, it will be my go-to purchase for a dog bed and/or crate liner any day of the week.

Great product, holding up so far!
The media could not be loaded. First time our 8-week pup got it, he peed on it ;-). Didn't last an hour. We washed it and threw it in the dryer, and thought, we potty train him first. At 12 weeks and great with potty, we reintroduced this bedding and he's enjoyed it more! We think it's much warmer than our floor and our pup sometimes likes the hardwood feel. He does love to take his toys there. We'll have to see during the winter which one he prefers. Now at 15 weeks and teething so much, so far this product has held up. We've machine washed it the second time (vomit) and it's still holding well. He dens a lot and tries to scratch this thing as much as he can and so far so good. We do have to teach him not to nip on the edges. This fits well on his 24" crate. Quite thick so if you're using a divider, you'll have to pull/wiggle this inside. On hardwood, it's expected to slip around.

Buen producto
Espero dure unos 4 meses.

Great bed!
I love this bed... Actually my 70lb dog loves it! He's 8 years old and I've purchased 3 over his life time. All are still in use, though the first is less fluffy. They wash well and I air dry them. They've never lost their shape. Fit perfectly into his kennel and on the living room floor. Can't beat the price either.my biggest worry is that it won't be there when I buy another, lol
