Marginally satisfactory -- not returning, but not buying again
I don't remember the dimensions being posted when I placed my order -- I'm usually a stickler for checking for them, so I can visually show my wife how much space an item will occupy in the area we intent to place it. From the picture, we both imagined something at least three feet tall, and reasonably sturdy -- something we could comfortably sit a couple of spider plants and a couple of pothos onto, near a window, to get great light. The package arrived and I was amazed at how compact it was. I thought, "sheesh, how much assembly is going to be required?" Turns out it folds in on itself, with two of the 'stands' separate (insert two legs into two holes, very simple assembly). You can make out the joint on the far right side of the picture. Unforutnately the fit is quite loose -- which makes it feel rickety. I plan to use some clear silicon caulk to 'glue' the two stands into place (and fill the extra space). This won't affect the pivoting ability of it, but means we can't fold it up for storage (not an issue for us).Size-wise, the platforms sit at 11" (lowest) to 22" (highest), and are about 6-3/4" in [inner] diameter. For standard-shaped clay pots, I believe this would accomodate one that's 8" at its top. But I don't know that I'd trust the weight of four plants, their soil, and clay pots on this. For $20 shipped, it's not a bad deal; sturdier ones of a similar size are $30-$40 at our local nursery. We're not returning ours, but in the future, we'll probably buy a sturdy ones locally, or I'll build wooden ones in my workshop.

Nice but ...
The stand has plastic sheaths on top of each prong onto which each hilder basket fits. On the unit that I purchased, one of the sheaths was capped on the top, meaning I couldn't fit the holder basket onto it. When I finally was able to break through the cap, the fit was not precisely even with the one on the other side. I shoulda returned it probably, but it was a Christmas gift I was putting together for someone. Also, like I said, it's nice but ... make sure you check the dimensions and know what you're getting: the picture makes it look bigger than it is.

Not very sturdy
It’s easy to assemble but I have found balancing it to be difficult.

Much smaller than it looks!
I needed this plant stand for some sturdy pots containing peace-lilies and trailing philodendrons, but the only pots that will fit are those of my orchids! The picture is very misleading and I was certainly not expecting it to be nearly so petite. It's about knee-high and the tiers are only 6" across. Even though the description says it will hold 8" pots, those would be 8" pots with a SERIOUS taper down to the bottom and no room for a saucer underneath. Since I ordered, somebody posted a photograph which I wish I'd seen beforehand as it's a much truer representation. If you're looking for something to hold your larger plants, this isn't it.

Very useful plant stand for indoors
I wish they were taller. Having said that, I have 3 stands and like that they can be moved around so all the plants get enough light during the winter. Pretty and practical for all my stuff. I would like them higner with wider tops as some of my plants are too wide and can't be accomodated. I think it's great for anyone who likes flowers and plants all year round and it makes an attractive display in front of my living room windows.

good for the price!
So I adore this plant stand. I only gave it 3 stars cuz it's not very sturdy and comes apart too easily. I would avoid this one of you have pets, but it works great for me. I think also it's best just for indoor use as it's pretty flimsy and might blow over in the wind. It's really only meant for small plants but as you'll see in my photo you can set larger ones on it if you balance it right ....but again if you have children or pets beware!!!

They are what they are.
I purchase them on Amazon because I needed them for a party I was having and needed to get some plants off the ground outside. I received them fast as always on Amazon Prime. Nothing fancy about them. I will follow up on my review next month to let you know how they hold up. I have them outside and they get wet from the sprinklers. For the promptness and attainability of purchasing them on line, I would buy them again. Even if I can them cheaper at the store that.

Plant stand for orchids
I wish the stand had been a few inches higher and the trays an inch to two further apart, but other than those two issues, it is exactly what I was looking for. I placed it in front of and on the house side of our sunroom windows so the orchids I put in the trays get just enough indirect light.

Too Small
This item is tiny. It indicates it can fit up to a 10" lot but there is no way. Small small small
