The only reason this isn’t 5 stars is because my rat managed to create his own holes within minutes and it looks like the only way to wash it without it deteriorating is by hand. I put mine in the washing machine because it stank after less than a week and it needed a better wash than I could manage by hand. I was very impressed that you can easily take the metal hooks out for washing but after just one wash (not a hot wash) bit came out.All that said, the most important part is my rat likes to sleep in it so clearly he feels safe in it, it probably stank so quick because he must have been so comfortable he went in a deep sleep and was contentedly having wees in his sleep.It’s very soft with several “pouches” to choose from and it looks great too.

My girls love this hammock. I would have marked it down because it lacks regidity, so if one of my rats in in the bottom, it becomes an upsidedown pyramid. But I can't argue with my 6 girls whom love it.

We have 5 big boy rats and they all fit in and enjoy a snuggle, good size and easy to wash. Highly recommended.

Popped this in the cage, and within ten seconds they were all over it! See photo haha. I think it’s a hit. It’s perfect as a design because one of my rats like to lie on top of hammocks, and the others inside it. This way, they can do both!

I've 3 of these for my rats. They have lasted ages and still livable for them depute the chewers lol
