The Autism Vaccine: The Story of Modern Medicine's Greatest Tragedy

I have read several books written by Mr. Maready and I have never been disappointed. I have a very large library of medical literature on the topic of vaccines and I can say without reservation that the quality of the information is top rate. I have an advanced degree in Microbiology and did research on a specific vaccine. I was a vaccine believer once until 1973, a virology professor informed me that the Salk polio vaccine contained a contaminate called SV-40 that was oncogenic (caner causing) in animal models. That shocked me to the core. The vaccine was NOT RECALLED and was administered to millions of people anyway. Today, the SV-40 markers are appearing in cancers. I have come a long way since then on this topic. I am retired now and have a grandson that has never been vaccinated and enjoys good health that his peers do not. He does NOT make "well" doctor visits (neither does his PopPop and I do not take ANY prescription medications). He very rarely gets even a sniffle and when he does, he overcomes it in a couple of days. The vaccine religion qualifies as a cult. Facts do not deter believers; their minds are closed and I do not waste a second of my remaining life talking to them, and that especially includes doctors and nurses. When the death toll and ruined lives reaches the point where no family is untouched by the personal experience of a vaccine injury, or the knowledge of someone they know with it, there will be an awakening and a rage that will focus on the unmitigated greed of those individuals in science, medicine, industry, government, and the media that allowed all this to happen for money. My only wish is that I am still around to see it happen. It will be biblical. Mr. Maready, I salute you and may God protect you and yours, sir.

This is a must read with so much information on the history of America and the world. The entire first half is about interesting historical events that we should all know about. He doesn't push anti-vaccine sentiment throughout; he really just tells the historical stories for the first half of the entire book. All good things to know for parents, medical professionals, politicians, all of us.This book is made up of short, easy to read chapters. I loved it so much that I now bought copies of all his other books.

I bought this book to bring to the beach with me, but couldn't help but start reading it (curiosity lol). I was surprised because I was expecting it to be full of medical jargon and facts, and somewhat boring (no offense). To my delight, I found it to be a very compelling story, like many of my favorite novels, based on history with characters that are developed and engaging. I will likely finish it well before my beach vacation. Any recommendations for a book to bring to the beach, lol? I have always enjoyed Forrest Maready's My Incredible Opinion videos, but now he may have become one of my favorite authors.

Parents, you are your child's only defense.I highly recommend this book, particularly if the title enrages you. If you are a medical professional, what are you doing about the obvious dangers on injecting metals into developing humans? If you are a parent, wanting to force others to inject their children to protect yours, no one is willing to light their own child on fire, no matter who it could save - and the answer is that it wouldn't save anyone.If you are the manufacturer, the doctor or nurse, the health department, Senator Pan, or other leaders bringing about legislation or working to force unwanted medical procedures, history will not be kind to you and you should pray the awakening of the parents doesn't come when you are still visibly leading the charge. What recompense will the masses call for when they realize what you have done?

A must read for parents. Exquisite writing that is interesting, compelling yet easy to understand. Read all his books and loved them

A great review of just how use of metal based medicines have and in the case of Aluminum salts continues to damage children. Some severely and many others with life long issues that are smilingly unconnected but in fact a direct result of how the body reacts to injected aluminum. A reaction that has had little to no research done on and that in vaccine safety testing, was used in both groups a giant ethical problem to say the least.

Well researched, easy to follow book that I recommend all parents and medical professionals should read. Excellent data. In a world that often doesn’t make sense, this book does make sense.

Very interesting book. I loved the historical background the author gave. However, I felt the ball was dropped in a couple of places. The book gives me plenty to think about but misses the boat on a point or two. It stopped short of being able to convince me. I still think it was a valuable read and a good starting point to find answers. Our children need us to use whatever means possible to figure this out. As a 70 year old I have seen this unheard of problem explode into an epidemic. Now one in 59 boys! What has changed since the 50s, 60s, and 70s? My first autistic child in my classroom was in 1980. They were not hidden. They were not there! There are other things which have changed since then. What has increased? Time to look at ALL statistics to see the trends. Something to think about: Poorer states have fewer cases of autism. Does that make sense? I taught in a poor state. They do a fine job of identifying these children. Their parents may have poorer diets, smoke more, do more drugs, breast feed less because they are given formula and have less access to good health care. Most of these children get vaccines before entering school and most states provide them if needed. So what else could it be? I think the answers can be found if we put politics aside and open our eyes. Peruse the CDC statistics...Some answers may lie with vaccines. There may be other contributors as well. I still think the book made a serious contribution. I am not convinced vaccines are the total answer.

Forrest Maready knows how to tell a great story based on his research. This book really opened my eyes and gave me pause to consider what's in the rear view mirror. Hopefully society can change course before too many more children are damaged.
