Sticks well & old tape has lasted for almost 2 years with only a few pieces becoming worn or torn.

Works great. Used to keep dogs from slipping when jumping into truck. Weathers very well too.Update to my original review:Product works great on the truck, but also put it on an outdoor ramp exposed to the weather and lots of activity. Ramp is wood. Wood was new when applied. As of two weeks ago, Atlanta received a very hard freeze. the adhesive decided it did not like to stick to the wood and all the strips came off. Appears that exposure to the extreme cold and daily elements can cause the adhesive to become inadequate. The product itself is definitely anti slip and works well, just an adherence issue to the treated wood. I would recommend tacking it down if you wish for it to stay in place in extreme conditions, even if conditions are not normal.

I needed something on the footplate of my wheelchair. It was becoming difficult for me to get a grip on it to remain seated. This tape has done the trick. I’m much more comfortable now. Great tape!

Hi, I am writing this review WITHOUT getting a discount or promo. Just bought it to use it for a specific application and it is doing very well so far (3 weeks).I used it on a 1 x 4 ramp that goes from the chicken's nest area to the roost area. The chickens were quiet happy with the new ramp but the wood was slippery. They had actually all become more agile walking on this (lol) but I did not want to risk them getting hurt. At night the chicken train up the ramp gets a bit crowded and if there was some squabbling, someone got pushed off.The tape worked perfectly. On the very clean end it stuck completely. On the upper end where I had to clean off some droppings it stuck very well, but wanted to pull up a little on the still slightly dirty spots but has remained in place.It's not too scratchy for their feet, in fact the sandpaper is good for their nails :). I bought this while looking for friction tape. This works much better, no residue, no chemicals or adhesives to worry about. I would have given it 5 stars if it had been a little more sticky.Overall, very pleased with this product.

This XFasten Anti Slip Tape is exactly what I needed for the ramp in my shed. Recently, I went to get the lawnmower out and the ramp was so slippery I twisted my ankle. Luckily it was just a minor sprain but it could have been much worse. Then the following week my husband slipped on the ramp and almost fell. That is when I decided we had to do something before someone really got hurt on that thing. I was thinking about how I could add traction to prevent future slipping and that is when I saw this tape. The tape is 4 inches wide and 15 feet long. It has a PVC base layer injected with 80 grit aluminum oxide compound to provide extra traction where slippery surface conditions occur.It is good for indoor or outdoor use and the grit on the tape can withstand heavy traffic. The Safety Tape was easy to cut into strips with just regular scissors and has an adhesive backing and with easy to remove paper backing. This tape was easy to install, and not supposedly.does not leave any residue should you want to relocate or remove it.I received this at a discount for my unbiased review.

I have an 18 years old cat who has some arthritis in his rear legs. To make life more comfortable to him, I have special steps in various places that he likes to go. I have a dense foam wedge (part of a larger toddler play mat, but I bought it for my cats) that I moved up to a spot my cat wants to get at. I was concerned that the material could be too smooth for my geriatric kitty. I was thinking about how to make this wedge work when it occurred to me to purchase grip tape.I wasn't sure how wide I would want it, so I went with 2" wide tape figuring I could cut it in half. The first run at bottom of wedge is the regular width. The strips above were cut in half. They stick really well!It works for our needs! My boy has been using the wedge to get to a spot on the cat climber, as pictured.This tape--such a simple thing-- has helped my kitty so much. The strips provide grip for his frail gait. Makes me happy and relieved.Now I'll look around the house to see where else this tape may help.So far so good for my needs. Thank you!

Sorry I have to give a bad rating to what seems a very nice anti-slip tape. Arrived as large rolls in fine shape, good and "gritty" for anti-slip, easy to cut to length and peel off nice backing to lay down. I put it down on a long wooden ramp - clean wood, in the dry summer, even used a wall paper roller for extra pressure on the edges. But with the first rain, sadly, the edges began curling, initially only at the ends, now down the long edges, too. I'm sorry to report that this product, which seemed so nice at arrival and with installation looked so nice and neat and provided the needed anti-slip surface, has failed. Disappointing that it took time and effort to apply, now leaving me to try to fix it by gluing down all of the edges or removing and starting over with another brand. I really liked the tape. In fact, I liked it so much that I had ordered 3 more rolls planning to expand my project. But then with the first rain and curling edges, I returned the 3 new rolls and now face gluing down ALL of the edges or starting over on the ramp. This tape might stick fine indoors. Don't know as I only needed it for an outdoor wooden ramp. Sad and frustrated here with the ramp a mess with all those curling edges. Will never know if the rolls I got were from some kind of bad batch and the rest might stick perfectly. That's unknowable, but I will look for another brand next time. Even though I made a mistake installing this before stripping off the old one from my RV's steps but still worked. Can say adhesive works great. After I didn't make the same mistake for other steps and result was even better.

I put strips of this product on my outside wooden stairs. It feels quite coarse & sticks well so far.. I’ll have to see how it holds up after winter.Very easy to install.

Perfect grip on treated wood, feels very secure to walk on. Extremely easy to apply. Would absolutely buy again if I end up with another project that calls for this.
