I own Old Soldier Ironworks... we invented the Freedom Flyer. I have been testing flags for durability for over a year now by flying them at highway speeds untle they fray and fail. This flag has made it an unprecedented month in the pictured condition...Bravo fellas...Not even Annins "tough text" can touch the strength of this flag...

Made in USA Flags claims this flag to be a heavy duty 2-ply polyester, however it is see through. The fly end of the flag is folded over by 1-1/8" and indeed triple stitched, however it is misaligned offsetting the red and white stripes. Also the two outermost red stripes on this side are a completely different width measurement. I am a U.S. veteran and due to these severely poor workmanship flaws, this particular flag is unfit to hang or fly which prevents me from rating the durability and material quality fairly. It is quite apparent that this company forgot one very important component when it comes to American made... quality control.

Repeat customer. Repeat because it needs to be replaced every year. Don't get me wrong here, all the others last 6 months at best. I am only giving this 4 in hopes that they figure out how to get two years instead of one. That way they will be four times better than any other flag and cut my costs in half. I never have issues with any of the sewing or material falling apart. It just fades from facing south all year long here in Charlotte, NC. Keep up the great quality and get those cloth producers to make a higher fade resistant product.

I tell ya what. This flag is beautifully-made, and puts up to VICIOUS winds here in southern Utah. The last one lasted a year before being retired, and that is saying a LOT. Don't buy 5 cheap flags throughout the year--buy one GREAT flag. Buy USA-made, like this one!

Though more expensive than most flags you will buy, this is the real deal. The quality is superb. We have a lake house where we fly our flag 24/7. When there are storms that come off of Lake Michigan, it takes a real beating. I am confident that this flag will last longer than all others. The stitching, particularly along the ends that usually frays over time are nicely sown and double stiched. The embroidery is fantastic!

wonderfully made. Stars are embroidered. Didn't notice if that it was in description. We live in the High Desert in California..It get very hot ( today over 100) Hopefully it lasts. God bless America

You must get a heavy-duty flag pole bracket to attach to your house or commercial bldg, not one of the multi-position brackets. The multi-position thumbscrew-selectable bracket lets you change the angle, but also adds a point of failure. I've been through two of those aluminum brackets in a few months, just so I wouldn't have to keep drilling four more holes. This 3x5 indestructible flag has been a wonderful replacement for light-duty flags, but with its weight, I believe it will continue to tear up anything flimsy when it's wet and windy.I've had no problem with Amazon's American Signature Flag Pole 5 ft - Heavy Duty Aluminum Tangle Free Spinning Flagpole with Carabiners with either of my flags.And no problem with Amazon's Evergreen Flag Cast Iron 2 Position Wall (not thumbscrew-selectable position!) Mount House and Estate Flag Pole Bracket. However, that cast iron bracket does not hold a flag this heavy, because this vendor does not make a commercial-duty Thin Blue Line flag. (In Amazon Answered Questions -- not in Reviews/Ratings -- they explain why they only do American, not Blue/Red line, Marine, nor Texas or Confederate. If they did, I'd have several!)

I wanted a US Made in America Flag, and this is what I got.There is just something wrong about having an American Flag made in China...The flag is a nice and heavy feeling material and looks to be sturdy made and sewn.It has weathered a could of good storms and still looks like brand new.Thank You!!
