Filfil Garlic Hot Sauce (1 bottle No. 7)

Filfil Foods No. 7 Garlic Hot Sauce NON-GMO Vegan Healthy Gourmet Condiment ( 1 Bottle ) I first tried no.7 hot sauce at a friend's dinner party and then ordered it for myself. It has a super intense flavor so use sparingly at first to figure out how much suits your palette. When I cook for my wife I have to use a lot less. It is not a traditional hot sauce. Filfil's focus is flavor, not heat or spiciness so if you put less you can enjoy the flavor without the spice. Other than that it goes great on Thai takeout food, avocados as a snack, or in chili as spicing. I just ordered the no.6 and no.8, can't wait to try them!

Average garlic taste nothing special

Worst hot sauce I ever tasted. I have over 30 hot sauces in the frig and love them. Hot isn't the point a good flavor is what it's about. This has such an odd, awful flavor. I threw it out.

Was sent an article from my dad about a bunch of different sauces. Garlic sauces are what I gravitate toward, so I thought I'd try this.Overall, I think it is a decent "sauce". It really borders on a thin paste. For my texture preference, I would cut this with other condiments or a few drops of water to thin it out. For my flavor preference, I would cut this with other condiments to help balance it. To me, it tastes like a bunch of powder spices were thrown in with a ton of garlic and some oil--like it is needing more acidity to balance things out.My expectations were that is was going to be more of a sauce I could drench my tacos in (like Cajun Power Garlic Sauce), but that is not the reality. And that is ok because, again, when a little is mixed in with some mayo or butter it works for me. I imagine this would be really good for a marinade as well.

Pro: A very good, not overwhelmingly hot sauce with a garlic twist.Con: Expensive for the size of bottle. Glass bottle, not squeezable plastic and no dispenser cap. Had to empty into the original, smaller, squeezable bottle to use.

A restaurant in NYC had the No. 7 on a dish we ordered. OMG it was so good! The sauce seriously stood out and we had to ask about it. We thought there was no way we could get our hands on this sauce from the west coast since it’s Brooklyn based. Thank heavens it popped up on Amazon!We heard that the No. 8 was a sweeter version so we went ahead and ordered one too. We just tried it on chicken and now we don’t know which one we like better, the No. 7 or No. 8!

This sauce is lame. Nobody that has tried it likes it. Totally disappointed!!! Don't recommend. I am giving one star a guess for effort.
