Didn’t think I’d ever feel compelled to write a review about a phone mount, yet here I am. For years, I simply did without a phone mount in my car. Every mount I ever had would inevitably disappoint me, and usually at the worst possible time. I’d hit a little bump in the road which would send my phone flying throughout my car, or randomly the mount would give up and decide to nose dive into the passenger footwell, or maybe the tiny spring-loaded vent clips would get lost or broken as I’m cleaning the interior. But then I discovered this little phone mount, and to my surprise, it does exactly what it is supposed to do! It firmly holds the vent AND the phone, no matter what bumps I hit on the road. The build quality is excellent, it feels upscale with the matte finish, and the steady release action is kinda cool to watch. And it even fits oddly shaped vents thanks to its great design. Hats off to the designers of this phone mount!

I used this phone mount for my car. The order arrived in a small box, came with two pieces, one piece for mounting to the the a/c and the other for the phone. The instruction guide and manual were really helpful and easy to understand. Put the clip piece to the a/c first, bend the bottom knob to the side (I for thicker vent blades and II for narrower vent blades). Then unscrew the circular dial piece on the back of the phone mount, secure the ball part to the a/c vent piece, tighten the circular dial, and the mount is ready for use! The sides are adjustable to the size of your phone. The mount has been sturdy from my experience so far. Great buy for under $7!

Unfortunately one of my cars does not have android auto and carplay and I donot want to spend time to upgrade the headunit. I tried a few cell phone holder and this one is the best. It does not use suction which I donot trust at all. It does not use 3M or so, which are not working for my car at all. It clamps to the vent very well and pretty solid. Angle can be adjusted per the requirements. Very easy to put phone in and lock. One push will release the phone. I feel not much difference and actually more convenient than the android auto in another car. One star off, because a few times, the release button does not fully release one side, the other side is fine. I still take phone off easily but I am not sure how long it will last for that side. Anyway, good product with low price. Nothing really to complain.One star more due to great customer service. I wrote previous review and there is an small issue with the item. The seller messaged me and solved the issue within one day.

Used to have a magnetic mount in my car, and really loved the convenience. Easy mounting and unmounting with one hand. But after upgrading my phone from the Pixel 2 to Galaxy S10e, I wanted to take advantage of the wireless charging, so wasn't able to stick a metal plate to the back of the new phone. I was concerned I wouldn't be able to find something that was as easy to mount and unmount with one hand. Stumbled across this Aukey mount on sale for $7 and figured I'd give it a try.The mount is very well built for the price and installs easily into my car vent. It is actually better than the magnetic mount because you can adjust how tight the mount clamps to the vent, ensuring it won't fall out accidentally. After putting my phone in and adjusting the arms, turns out I can easily slide the phone in and out of the mount without having the press the release button each time. Just what I wanted! Overall, highly recommend this product. No more ugly metal plates, and for the price, you can't go wrong.

Quite possibly my own fault, but the grippers are too large to fit in the air vents of the for explorer. Also, the explorer air vent doesn't support the weight of the phone, because the vents are built differently so that the entire vent angles, and not just the blades.So this did not work for me. Possibly true for all clamps this size. But I will be returning unfortunately. Everything seems great, fits the iPhone 6s and 11. Feels sturdy, easy to clamp phone in and out. Just doesn't work for my needs.

I really like this holder. I've had a similar one that was not as strong as this. It feels sturdy. It holds my Galaxy in the Otterbox with no problem. I can use one hand easily to put the phone in and out of the holder. It also stays put even with the weight of the phone. That was a problem with the other one. I'd put my phone in and 2 seconds later, the front of the phone would be tilted down. I've had others that were very flimsy. This stays in place. Great holder!

Wow! This cell phone holder is being used daily while out Doordashing. I have tried several other holders and every one of them failed in some way whether it be the cord was in a bad location, or the 'grip' on the phone not being tight enough, or the unit itself not connecting to the vent securely, and on and on. But THIS model? Its like a dream come true! Holds the phone securely, super easy to install, you can angle the phone in just about any direction you might need, the cord is out of the way, the mounting is secure... they've thought of everything! Should anything change I will update this review, but for right now? I'm off to purchase a 2nd one for a family member! Thanks for the great product at a great price!
