The oven cooks pizza well. But it needs your help.
This pizza oven is very well built and looks nice. The components were easy to install and initial setup was easy. The chimney stack arrived broken, but I reached out to the seller and they made it right. After using the oven, a few things are worth noting.First, the built in thermometer has started to get condensation in it and has somewhat deteriorated and is hard to read. Along with that, when the oven is fully heated, the thermometer reads the heat going out the chimney due to its placement. But when using a infrared thermometer to check the temp of the pizza stone, which is the important piece to be hot, the stone measures a good 100-150 degrees cooler than the chimney thermometer states. The supplied pizza peel is very flimsy and the folding hinge gets in the way when trying to prep a pizza on the peel. I had to buy a different peel to make things a bit easier. Now onto the cooking bit. The oven takes some time to preheat which is normal. But the tray that holds the pellets is rather small and you will find that you need to refill it quite often. Not terrible but it keeps you busy while cooking. Now The smoke flavor. There is none. Maybe I need to try more types of pellets, but after using cherry pellets, mesquite pellets and a pellet blend, I do not taste smoke on the pizza at all. Kinda a bummer but the oven still cooks the pizza way better than a traditional oven or cast iron skillet.I think the key to a decent pizza is using good ingredients. Fresh dough. Fresh cheese. Fresh meats and veggies. Good quality sauce. And maybe the most important part is using coarse cornmeal or semolina on the peel before building the pizza. If you don’t take this tip, your pizza will stick to the peel when trying to slide it into the oven. Awful.Taking the oven apart to clean is easy. It would be nice if the oven had come with a cover. I had to buy one since this oven will stay outside. The legs fold in and all of the oven parts would fit inside the oven for easy transport for camping or taking it to a cookout. Just make sure you bring plenty of pellets. And you will NEED a torch to light the pellets. A regular lighter is not going to cut it.Overall, because of the deal I got on this oven, I kept it. But it does not give a smoky flavor like I had hoped. It is a bit cumbersome to actually get a pizza cooked well because of the temp fluctuations from constantly needing to open the tray and refill the pellets. I suppose with practice you can get down a good routine for timing your pizza cooking with pellet refills.

No instructions with the oven
We can’t seem to find a YouTube for the same brand but we have been able to piece things together. It will just be trial and error for now.
