Although I had to be refunded because the unit wasn't given me accurate readings. I am nevertheless impressed with the speed and ease of making my request good. That is why give 5 stars. I did upgrade to the PRM-9000 which overall is a better unit

Well, it kind of works. Lack of sensitivity.
It works but the sensitivity is very low, thus, unless you live in Chernobyl you won't get accurate ratings on the spot like some other (same price) devices do.

Seems to work but how am I supposed to charge it? It didn’t come with a charger! I’m sure the battery will be dead before I find a charger

OK but wanted better response
For very general use, this instrument would be OK but I needed more sensitive response than it provided. I would opt for the PRM-9000 model rather than this.

Simple and functional, well built, uses a standard battery. This device should accompany first responsders in every response.
