Condensation Killer
My father had one of these fitted a 10+years ago and it recently broke down so I ordered him one of these and fitted it for him. The pre heat element works well and takes the edge off on a cold day - it doesn’t blow warm air just enough heat to remove the chill from the loft air on a winter day. It keeps the condensation away so well I bought one too for my house! It works just like it says and saves having to wipe down the windows each morning once you find the right setting for the size of your house. Would definitely recommend, especially if you have tendency to dry clothes etc. on your radiators. Wish I had bought one years ago….

Does exactly what it says it does!
Easily installed by competent DIYer.Wireless controls easily paired.Got rid of all condensation from large bungalow over first night of installation.Even keeps condensation completely away when set on normal settings which are essentially silent. Boost settings are great for clearing condensation after shower/bath.I went for top end with heater and remote, but if you can’t stretch to that, I dare say just the standard unit would work just as well.Great product.

Does what it says it does
Been suffering with condensation / damp and mould during the colder months. Had a damp specialist in who recommended fitting an air brick which I didn't think would solve the problems in all of the rooms. After a lot of research I decided to invest in the Nuaire Drimaster Eco Heat system. The installation instructions that come with the system are OK but there are also YouTube video tutorials which are a lot better and make more sense. The only issue I had was attaching the hose to the unit. I would recommend doing that part before you hang it in the loft. The fit is very tight and I ended up using a spoon in much the same way you would use a tyre lever on a bicycle wheel to help without damaging the hose.I also bought the remote wall control unit which, for what it is, is expensive but it makes controlling the air flow rate and heater much easier and simpler than taking the diffuser disc off every time you want to adjust something. After running it overnight I woke up to no condensation on any of the windows and the air inside the house feels drier and fresher. I was very sceptical about some of the reviews I've read about this system but I cannot fault it. This has made such an impressive improvement in less than 24hrs from being switched on I'm glad I made the purchase. If you're doing the electrical installation yourself and you're not using a socket & plug combination, you'll need to install an isolation switch in addition to the 3A fused spur box that is supplied in order for it to be compliant with Regs.

Noticeable results but installation not easy
If your house is suffering from condensation, mould etc. get this unit, 100%. BUT, understand that installation is not straightforward as some reviews stated. It is not "plug & play". If you are not an electrician or don't understand much about it, you will need an electrician. We installed the unit and the fan (took about 2-3 hours, not an easy task in the slightest) but for the cable/power bit we had to call an electrician because we had no clue what to do with the wires hanging out. This was an extra £85. Unit has been running for about 9 hours now and we can clearly feel the nice, crisp, clean air. Almost feels like an open air space, it's hard to explain but feels clean. And no condensation so far, although maybe it's little too early to comment on that part.I think the unit is very expensive but I also think it's absolutely worth it. Now the next part to discover for us is the monthly running cost as this is the heated version.

It works!
I have read the reviews and was still dubious about buying one of these units, as it’s a lot of money! Delivery was fast and installing was straight forward, luckily I had power in the loft space, so it was easy, plug and play! The 4 way switch was also easy to bind to unit and works as it should. The unit is set on level 3 and you can hear it when on the landing, but not in the bedrooms. We had issues with condensation, particularly in the rear bedrooms and some condensation on all other windows every morning, but the windows to the rear were dripping every morning. We bought a karcher window vac, but that did not solve the problem, it just made wiping up the condensation easier. After installing the unit, it worked instantly, the next day, no condensation anymore in the house, except the back bedroom, this took two to three days for the unit to settle down, but after that, clear windows at last!I have the heated unit, but have not used this yet, but it’s there if it gets too cold on the landing, so far it just feels like fresh air is circulating around the landing and the rest of the house, but this is better than condensation and mould building up across the house.I use the boost function when cooking and showering just to increase the ventilation during these times to reduce any chances of future issues. If you are thinking about getting one of these units, do it, they definitely work!Once you work out where to position your unit in the loft space, installing it is easy,I had to be aware of our boiler in the loft and smoke alarm on the landing, so make sure your measurements are correct before starting.Love the fact that the unit gets rid of condensation, protects against radon gas and reduces pollen in the house too!
