A great bath oil but a bit weak
Tisserand Aromatherapy x National Geographic Paradise Bath Oil 100mlWhat a beautiful smelling bath oil blend! I love the combo of Jasmin, Grapefruit and Mandarine and how well they work in synergy to seriously uplift your emotions and whilst simultaneously providing some serious health benefits.Jasmin essential oil is well known to be used as a natural Anti-depressant, Grapefruit essential oil is great to help balance your mood whilst Mandarin essential oil helps calm your emotions and soothe any tension. The almond base oil also helps keep your skin (and hair) nice and moisturised which is a nice added bonus. So this trilogy of essential oils is sure to block out any negative emotions and thoughts and keep your mind focused and positive, whilst providing other awesome health and well-being benefits!I did find that this blend is relatively weak. I followed the instructed ‘few drops’ and couldn’t smell a thing in the bath. I then proceed to add a total of ~10 drops in the bath before I could get a hint of the blend. I would expect this to be stronger for the £10.60 price tag (especially from such a high end brand for aromatherapy). Saying that, the benefits of using this oil (with some Epsom salt) after a heavy workout was definitely clear, and I felt so fresh with no muscle aches the following day.All in all, a great bath oil by Tisserand x National Geographic. It can also be used as a Massage oil if you were wondering!I hope you found my review helpful! :)

Quality oil but disappointed in map
I have used this brand before,I have a sleep spray and balm by them that is so relaxing and I always find there essential oil products to be top quality. They are not a cheap and cheerful brand but they are top quality so case of get what pay for.I was excited to read they were work with ‘National geographic’ and was curious to see the advertised ‘wellbeing map’, I don’t know what I was expecting with map but as national geographic was involved I was imagine a small beautiful, maybe colourful map that I could frame and display? When the parcel was delivered I thought they had forgot to include the map but I soon realised the tiny square of paper inside box unfolded and was the map! To say I was disappointed is an understatement. They make such a point of mention and sell the included map in listing but it’s basically instructions sheet with tiny map show areas some of oils originate from, you need a magnifying glass to read and is on thin creased paper ☹️ .Map aside the oil is usual good quality.I add between 6/10 drops to bath and the beautiful aroma rises from steam.Despite been an oil it doesn’t sit atop the water like an oil slick and is very relaxing to bathe in, afterwards you are left with soft skin. The oil is top quality and is good sized bottle.I have seen other reviewers say has no scent but I didn’t find this ,but you do need to add more than 1 or 2 drops,I usually add under hot running tap ,at drop at a time and once smell reaches desired strength I stop. The oil is quite expensive but is comparable to there other products ,so no surprise there.Im happy with oil and don’t even mind cost as it’s not an item I would use everyday, rather an oil I use when I’m take hour or 2 out for real pampering session, that starts with long relaxing bath.I think they shouldn’t sell the map so much in listing or other customers who are aware of national geographic and the top quality programs and products, will like me be expect more than tiny thin folded square of paper?

Relaxing and hydrating
When you want to get away from it all and can’t due to lockdown restrictions at present why not create your own blissful corner by adding a few drops of this oil to your bath water. Priced at £10.38 this is good value as it will last awhile as you only need a few drops. The smell is beautiful and intoxicating, I found it to be strongly scented towards oranges which I love. I can imagine the orange groves on a hot summers day, shame I can’t visit at the minute.A lovely relaxing spa like experience in your home, an easy way to reduce stress and find your own inner calm.It feels lovely and hydrating on the skin but leaves the water oily looking afterwards which can also cause bath to be slippy if not washed correct so be careful.

Yuck!
So, imagine paradise.... A small clearing surrounded by lush vegetation and wild flowers. A crystal clear pond at the centre with beautiful fish... Birds, butterflies and deer.... Then someone comes along with a herbicide spray, kills the plants, the fish die and then for reasons unbeknownst to anyone, they bottle the rancid water (containing dead fish and rotting plant waste) and make it into a bath oil.........Seriously I know we all have a preference for different fragrances but this isn't a matter of taste. It smelt like chemicals and fish. I stink, my bathroom stinks. Absolutely yuck!

So relaxing, wonderful combination of essential oils leaving my skin super soft too.
I have used other Tisserand products in the past and they have always been excellent quality but a little expensive. This bath oil is vegan friendly and free from parabens, the packaging and plastic bottle are recyclable. Nothing fancy about the packaging, which is what I would expect. I do like the globe print inside the box; it looks like a treasure map, perhaps I am unwrapping a little treasure. I added around ten drops to my bath. The smells were wonderful, the Jasmine was the strongest of the three essential oils but I could also smell the citrus of the grapefruit and mandarin. The water had a slight sheen. My bath was relaxing and my bathroom smelt lovely. My skin felt soft but did not smell of the oils. There is a map inside explaining where the oils come from and how they can benefit your wellbeing. This is a good quality bath oil and the price is what I would expect to pay for a product like this.
