I only use this 2 x a month when I do security job. The 3rd time I used it, and the wires came loose and pulled almost out by the clip (closest to the ear piece). It is kept in my office when not in use. No one touches it, so it wasn't messed with by anyone. Disappointed in this product.

Unfortunately, I got what must be a bad unit. It plugged into our Baofang radios with no issue, and the mic worked, but is not being passed from the speaker through the acoustic tube; resulting in very low audio, inaudible outside of a silent room.

Love the sound quality and the volume roller! A night and day improvement over my old mic/earpiece set. The volume roller is a huge plus. My only complaint is the size of the mic/volume box; it is a too big for discreet use...a little bit wider than a man's thumb or roughly the size of Halloween mini candy bar.

This earpiece has held up well, is easy to use, clear sound.
