Arrived in perfect shape. Used the rind in a risotto with scallops and green beans, delicious.To those who complain about the lemons being salty. Hello, they are preserved in salt. Same goes for wonderful salt cured capers. Rinse and adjust the salt in the dish to taste. If it is your first rodeo and the dish ends up to salty you use less salt next time, that is what learning to cook is.To those who complain about the smell, these lemons are native to Morocco and are nothing like the homemade Meyer Lemons you have made. The Moroccan lemons have a distinctive smell and taste that works magic in many dishes.

I wanted to share an experience I had recently after my purchase here on Amazon from Mina’s Morocco. I love using the preserved lemons, but sadly when I received my last shipment one of the jars had opened slightly and leaked inside the bubble wrap. I am not a fan of getting opened products so I dumped them. I had bought 2 bottles and the other was fine for dinner. I first tried to return the item, but food items are not taken back. I contacted the seller through email and explained the situation. Mina wrote me back personally apologizing on behalf of the way the item was shipped and simply wanted my address to ship me a replacement jar. I was very pleased and just received my replacement jar. Mina’s Morocco is an outstanding service with great products that can’t be beat. I would highly recommend doing business with this seller. I don't do many reviews, but I thought that Mina deserved some kind words.

Like so many others we threw this product away upon its arrival. Leaking, marred label, clearly not up to anyone’s standards. Seal was broken; or may not have ever been sealed. I recommend you DO NOT purchase this product.

I haven’t used this item yet, but it does appear to be fresh & is the lemons inside are a nice yellow color. Looking forward to trying these in a new recipe soon.

I didn't know what to expect but needed this for a Moroccan dish. The lemons are surprisingly flavorful and I can now see how else they can be used in other dishes from salads to soups and stews.

I ordered two jars of Mina's preserves lemons. One jar was fine. The other was clearly leaking and there was strange black stuff all over the jar and lid that can be seen through the bubble wrap. I tried to return, but it's non-refundable due to it being food! I understand not sending it back for a physical return, but not being able to be refunded for a product that's unsafe to eat is UNBELIEVABLE! I'm extremely disappointed that I can actually show photos of the state it arrived in but can't get a refund. I'll need to try ordering from a company that backs their products 100%. I ordered from Mina because my last jar was so delicious. But who can afford to spend $10 on three preserved lemons that you have to throw away because who knows how long the jar has been leaking?!

We love lemon flavored foods....especially with fish and desserts. This was a Indian dish of chicken and basmati rice that called for preserved lemon rind. It was outstanding! The lemon rind brought out all the other flavors. Can't wait to try it on another dish soon. My first time using preserved lemons but will not be my last.
