Lightsphere Portrait Lighting Kit

It gives similar diffuse flash characteristics to the original lightsphere but it’s collapsable and fits in my bag better without having to remove it. The amber dome really changes the color temp a lot but eliminates that awful white flash on skin in incandescent lighting. You just need to adjust the white balance a little in post. No big deal. The white dome works very well for direct on fill and when you have no ceiling to bounce from. Despite other reviews, it holds on to my SB910 and has never slipped off like the old style did. Four events and ~3000 photos later, it’s still on tight after being bumped in to many times. I’m very happy with it. I’m using a Nikon D750 with an 800 or 910 strobe.

Nice product but overpriced considering what it is. I use it when it's too inconvenient to set up larger diffusing options. Performs well and is a nice solution in the continuing search for the perfect portable diffuser. Gary Fong also has many informative videos on YouTube explaining how to get the most out of his products and lighting in general.

I debated this purchase for quite awhile, but I'm so glad I bought it. I shot a family Christmas gathering with the lightsphere, and may have had one bad picture. It's incredible how well this works. The snoot has been a great find as well. It is a bit heavy, so make sure you use it on a flash that can handle the weight (my Nikon SB-700 works, the Yongnuo has a bit of a problem with it). I've tried a lot of diffusers, but this is by far the best.

This piece is awesome. I have used it so many times since I've had it. Event shoots are now lit the way I want to light them. And using high speed sync looks amazing with the snoot. This shot was off camera flash with the snoot and a blue tab

This is one of the best lighting diffusers ever. I have also started using the grey dome to check my white balance. It's amazing how much it makes a difference.

I think completely overpriced for what it is. Paying for the name. I find the parts hard to collapse for storage. I still can’t believe I actually paid what I did for this!

Absolutely excellent product with great quick start instructions for beginners. Has really improved the indoor shots of my new daughter!

Nutze das Portrait Lighting Kit sowohl drinnen als auch draußen und nicht nur für Portraits. Das Licht wird so wiedergegeben, wie man es will. Einen Studio Blitz mit Softbox kann es nicht ersetzen, aber der Diffusor ist klein, stabil und günstig. Und man bekommt sehr gute Qualität. Klare Empfehlungen für alles Fotografen mit Blitz. Andere Diffusor habe ich schon nicht mehr im Foto-Rucksack.
