Studio Ghibli Songs

I loved this compilation of image songs. Image songs have vocals! This is my second copy. While this album is excellent, the Studio ghibli songs with the blue cover and Totoro facing left has more and recent songs. I would still recommend this album as long as it’s available. Beware, as this album has been bootlegged.

The Cd was in prefect condition and it even came with a cute origami crane as a thank you note!

Are very good memorable songs.

In retrospect I should have selected something else but in knowing none of the language it is like I have here an album with another instrument on it.I would have otherwise went for classical music which has no lyrics, so this is great for music to talk by. In the car, when friends come over for meals - any time you want a tune but don't want to hear lyrics.I received swift delivery, secure packaging and a cute oragami crane to use as a bookmark.

When we first listened to the album, we were intrigued to discover that there are so many Studio Ghibli films which we had not heard of. The films we have since seen , have been wonderful, each in their own way. Grave of the Fireflies is very sad, though, fair warning.We were also surprised to hear music from our favorite Studio Ghibli films which we had never heard before. Apparently, the American versions have replaced some of the Japanese music.We have grown to love listening to this album so much that our sons listen to it very often at bedtime, in the hopes of Studio Ghibli inspired dreams.

Some of the songs are from American pop artists and not from Studio Ghibli.
