Very fresh and tasty Pecans.
These pecans are very fresh and so perfectly halved. They are soft and yet firm, the taste of them is wonderful. Making candied pecans with these makes it a delight and they come out so pretty, though they do not last. Fantastic flavor, though I wish there was a greener packaging option for a majority of these products. Try them, you love them. Enjoy!

Finally reliably fresh pecans!
I love using pecans in my cereals. I have been disappointed too many times by buying them at Whole Foods of TJ's because those were too many times ladden with awful tasting rancid pieces. I have purchased them twice now from La Nogalera, and have been surprised by how much fresher they taste, with no odd-tasting pieces in the whole package. I look forward to getting many more 2lbs packs in the future!

Lower quality than earlier packages (UPDATED)
I bought dozens of packs of these pecans in the past, all shipped by Amazon. They were all good. The last pack I received was not shipped by Amazon, even though when I ordered it, I clearly saw that it was supposed to be shipped by Amazon. The quality was significantly lower, mostly broken pieces instead of pecan halves. There is a lot of pecan powder in the pack, like the pack has been through some difficult time in its life. It is very disappointing. I contacted Amazon about this, and they looking into this. If the outcome is not satisfactory to me, I will just explore other sources pecans. I think there are a lot of choices. UPDATE: Amazon was helpful about this. It looks like the quality degradation described in my original review was related to the shipping method, which was related to the item not being shipped by Amazon, which, from what I understand, does not happen often. So, I am raising my rating

A good snack food
Great flavor and a good value for those who enjoy pecans! Nice and easy to eat straight from the bag, and they store well in the refrigerator or freezer.

Delicious Pecans
Pecans were fresh and delicious. I can’t find organic pecans at my local grocery stores, and thankfully Amazon stocks them.
