I guess I should’ve paid more attention to the description. I thought I was ordering a super comfy stretchy sports bra. This is more like a traditional bra with three snaps in the back. It does have the soft cups like a sports bra would have, but the rest of it is more like a traditional bra. Seems like a quality product for the price, just not what I was looking for.

It was not comfortable a little snug.

Having disregarded the daft fitting instructions at the JMS site, I ordered one band size bigger and one cup size smaller than measurements would require per 'normal' bust measuring instructions (i.e., for over 50 years, department sales ladies would measure your underbust, then widest part of your bust, with the former your band size, and the latter your cup size at one letter per inch difference).It fits. Tightly. It should, because it will stretch out in the wash: ALL COTTON, except that the inner band is rubberized, so I'd not recommend putting this in the dryer (you can do it occasionally, but don't do it all the time). It's not uncomfortable, even though tight. It LIFTS! What a shocker. That band you see in the picture is accurately depicted. What you don't see, is that the cups themselves are MUCH SMALLER, with most of the surrounding area you do see in the picture, of very tight stretchy cotton. That's used to hold you up. When you take it from the package, it looks way too small. But when you try it on, heaven. I'm shocked that I can wear it alone, as now.However, it also makes a great underbra for your underwires, which universally suffer from the fact they aren't lined. That's why underwires are uncomfortable. The wires are covered, and usually quite well -- but the casing chafes. Wear this underneath your underwire, and suddenly the underwire bra.. becomes comfortable. For that usage alone, though, it might be good to order a cup size bigger and up to two band sizes bigger, so that the underwire isn't 'cramped' by the underbra. (See last two paragraphs of this review.)It even works in tandem with any other bra. Makes the entire fitting, much more supported and comfortable. Seems to be the combination of two bras. I got this inspiration from buying many bras over the past 60 days, and as you know, returning after wearing is verboten -- so then, how to fix a bad bra experience? Use this as the underbra. For if you look at my reviews for bras (google 'brainout's review' and 'Amazon' and 'bra'), you'll know what specific bras I was trying to redeem with this one. I spent maybe $200 on the other bras, combined. Ouch. Didn't then know this bra existed, nor that using an underbra would solve so many support and discomfort problems, thus redeeming all that other spent cash!Better late than never. Happy camper, moi. Just bought more, to experiment with a wider band and cup: at this price, it's worthwhile!New paragraph, results of experimenting: yeah, as bra liners you want these puppies to be a size bigger in cup than you'd normally wear solo, so they won't restrict the cup 'fit' of the outer bra; so you buy some bras in your real size, some in your size plus one in band width, some in your size plus one in both band and cup, depending on what bras you'll wear THESE, underneath. The difference in comfort is phenomenally wonderful. The liner 'supports' the band in the overbra, and the overbra 'supports' the liner. Far better combined, than either bra solo. And comfortable enough to SLEEP or wear for two days straight, like I just did.These bras arrive wrinkled in the cup, but if you wear them for a day or so, the wrinkles stretch out. Great liners, baby. The only flaw is that the straps are a bit scratchy right outta that YES SAVE ME FOR TRAVEL bra package. But machine wash them with fabric softener (or maybe no softener), and they will soften up. I'm doing that as I type, finally found a use for the automatic fabric softener cycle on my machine (yay). And wearing one bra solo while waiting, is suddenly not fun. I had NO idea that using these bras as liners, could save what's bad in my other bras.Thank you, JMS!

I read the reviews so I upped my band size (38) to the next size (40) and lowered my cup size. The band is so tight you can barely close it. I may try upping the band size once more to 42 but I'm afraid the cup size will be off.

I ordered this bra out of desperation. Finding a decent bra for me is a huge struggle and I was so pleased with this! It's definitely true to size. So whatever your normal bra size is, get that. It's really comfortable. I only wish they had more colors!

The band runs small. I ordered the 46DD after reading some of the reviews. I wear a 42DDD. . I like a non binding fit. This is what I got with the 46DD. The wide straps are comfortable on the shoulders. This bra gives some support and some uplift, but this is not a bra that lifts the breast up high. The breasts look rounded and natural.The bra is lightweight. . The photo looks better than the actual bra. The bottom band is just a piece of elastic. The elastic is soft. I don't find this bra to be really all that comfortable. . Even though the elastic is soft, it's still just a piece of elastic and it doesn't feel that comfortable on the body after a few hours of wearing. This is a non wire bra, but the manufacturer put some hard stiff fabric in the cups where an underwire would be. It dug into my breast like the dreaded underwire. I ended up cutting that out and re-stitching the bra back together. I also needed to shorten the straps, so I ended up cutting some out and re stitching.....the straps aren't overly long, I wanted more of an uplift. I like this bra because it completely covers the breast and sides......no spillover and no 3rd boob. It smooths the back. Still, I wouldn't purchase another. JMS sells a minimizer that is a good fitting, uplifting. and completely contains the breast. It is only available white and the price is similar to this one. I bought this bra because it appeared to be very comfortable, but without my alterations it wasn't .

It's not pretty, but its comfortable for everyday wear. Soft cotton type fabric with good shape on the cup. Based on other reviews I ordered a cup size down and a band size up. Unfortunately the band was too large and the cup too large as well (unfortunately the cup gets bigger with the band size so things get confusing as too what size is best. The cup is wrinkles in the front when it's too big.). I went with my regular band size and a cup size down, and it seemed a pretty good fit, but the band is a bit too tight, I so need an extender with it. Not ideal, but it's minor. My only complaint about the design is that the band could be wider (an extra hook) for more support and the padding on the shoulder straps ends too soon and needs to be extended. You could wear this bra for a light work out. Jiggle is minimized with good hold. The cotton fabric breaths well. Too bad the cups are not molded, so it shows some nipple. It's a pretty decent bra for a good price.

I have difficulty finding bras to fit as have a broad back with not huge cup size, and to get a comfortable fit, I often find the cup size too big. This bra fitted me round but did nothing to flatter my shape because of this problem. However, the straps stay up and I plan to wear this for horse riding where it will hold everything still, which was the main idea!

Smaller than the mentioned size

I usually wear size 38 DD and bought the same size for this product. I found the band was too tight, cups were perfect and supported very well. Nice shape too, not too pointy like those walmart bras. But I found that there is not enough separations between my girls, so gets sweaty in between and I manually separate them frequently, pretty annoying. Right not its not suitable for me as a day use bra, because of how tight the band is. Material however, very good!

Best bra I have bought actually. Firm support with comfort.
