Great little console for the price
My son was asking for this for a while, he finally had one for Christmas, the console is great and can be played portable or plugged into a TV set, the instructions are not very good, and it took us an hour on Christmas Day to get the controllers to work, we got them to work by pressing and holding the start button on the controllers for 3-5 seconds, hope this helps for anyone struggling. It doesn’t have as many games as stated, but for the price, I had a very happy little boy.

2 player doesn't work. No Mario or Sonic.
I was looking forward to this but was disappointed to find that the second controller did not work. Tried swapping batteries with other and it did not work. After getting a replacement speedily I found the same issue. One controller only worked again, so I tried using both working controllers which did not work either. It said 300 games but the menu says 295.Out of the 295 none however are recognisable or nostalgic for me.However the screen is nice and bright with decent sharpness to it. The one controller that worked was responsive. It would be nice if they allowed you to put your own ROMs on it through an SD card or USB. The usb on this is only for power sadly.

Only one controller works
This was a big disappointment to my daughter. I bought one and only one of the controllers worked so she couldn't play it with her brother. I sent it back and bought a second one and it had the same fault. It's fine for one player but that's only half the fun. I notice the only other review on here mentioned the same problem. This really should be taken off the market until the fault is resolved. Also the box it came in was disgraceful. It had clearly been opened before and sent back It may well be the same one that I had bought previously and returned as faulty. If so it should have been sent back to the manufacturer not sent out to another unsuspecting customer.

Using it as a doll head
Never going to use it as a game console, but was the right size for a 1/4 scale bjd (ball jointed doll)

8 bit games you never wanted to play
Some 8 but games were awesome back in the day and you can find non of them here. All of your favorites from the classic 8-bit era all missed in 300 unfun filled games. Shame really because the actual hardware is very cute and well made

Controllers - both do work, but differently
Just to add details about the two controllers. While it looks like one controller doesn't work, it does in a "2-player - capable" game. It seems as though one controller is "primary" and be used in the menu system, and the other controller is "secondary" and will only work for the second player when a 2 player game is selected (by the primary controller!).I can't see why this isn't explained in the manual and why the controllers otherwise look identical! Also the system seems to have partitioned the 2-player-capable games into a separate top level menu, which is what you choose when you power it on. in my version I have 216 single player games and 84 2-player games (which can also be played single player - you choose the number of players in - game (using primary controller!)).So, there are 300 games and both controllers probably do work... just with initial mystery.Might be useful to label the primary controller, especially if batteries end up running low.
