I don't use this as litter. I use it as a litter aide, and it works when used that way. The reason is because it's zeolite, which is really good at absorbing ammonia. Zeolite doesn't eliminate litter box odors, but it does help reduce them.

Worst litter I've purchased to date. If I could give it less than one star I would, this litter has absolutely no odor control what so ever. It was a complete waste of money.
