Works like a charm.

I have no complaints about this product. It works. It took my husband and me some time to figure out how best to use it, I admit. But when we need it, we set it to lower back, 30 minutes heat, 30 minutes to level 10 or higher and then follow with an ice pack as my PT suggested. After one or two treatments, the pain is gone. We’ve used the same pads dozens of times. Rinse off. Let dry. If I don’t feel they’re sticking, I pull a snug t-shirt over them to hold them to my body. I believe this has saved me many times to urgent care and more OT. Sure we have insurance, but why waste the time or the money — and be in pain if you can avoid it.Of course it isn’t a cure all. And sometimes we need a trip to the doctor. But why not try this first? And now I see it’s on sale!

Love the heat feature. Really helps my back muscles relax. I do wish it came with a belt clip. I was able to improvise by super glue another clip from a another devise. Be patient and take your time applying gel pads till you get the hang of it. I had no trouble with pads sticking and using them multiple times.

Sticky’s stop working after about 10-15 uses but omg the warmth is amazing for menstrual cramps! It works wonders. Also within a day my neck and shoulder which I injured were already feeling better. Highly recommend!

Why do you make a product like this that cannot be used in a dark room? You need a flashlight to shine on to the LCD screen to see anything unless it's very bright in the room. Why not spend a few cents for backlighting LCD screen?also once you start it, you cannot change any of the settings on till your power down and repower it. Basically pretty useless. In addition the pads only use one kind of sticky backs which is available only from the maker. Very expensive_____________________Old reviewFirst of all, this is sold by Omron, which is a brand name I trust.Making a TENS requires the understanding of how it actually functions.For those of you who don't know what TENS does, I'll explain a little bit...TENS stand for Transcutanious Electrical Nerve Stimulator. Meaning over the skin nerve stimulator. So why do this? Because nerve use electrical signals to transmit pain. When this unit is used, the pain quickly is relieved with no meds at all. There's zero side-effects for using this. It does not cure anything, but it does do something VERY important... it stops the pain-tension feedback. When you feel pain, the muscle in the area tenses up. That causes more pain. When the pain is ended, the muscle in the area relaxes and then healing can begin.This device also adds heat to the equation. You turn it on, choose the area, apply the pads to the sides of the pained area (don't put the pads directly over the pain area, put the pads in a way that the pain area is BETWEEN the pads. Then click SET and sit back. The pads heat up and then the treatment starts. It's set to 30 minutes.Love this thing. Buying another for my aging mom

I had not heard of this before a friend recommended it to me. She let me use hers and I was shocked at how much better my sore muscles were after the use of it. I couldn't wait to purchase one for myself.

The PM800 seems to be offered as the premium model, but i suggest considering the PM400 or PM500 instead. Omron TENs units leads and pads overall are not universally compatible. The pads for the 400 and 500 are a smaller snap (2.2mm) than the standard 3.5mm so care in purchasing replacements is needed. The lead cords connectors are "a proprietary design" making replacement difficult, and replacements are not sold by Omron. The leads on this unit are AWEFUL. They are permanent pads connected to the leads with replaceable gel stick-on pads. The unit cannot be shared among family members unless you replace the gel pads every time you switch users. You cannot remove the gels and put them back, you have to put new gels on. The shape of the pads does not lend itself to conforming to the contours of the body, and the edges pull away from the skin on curved areas like an arm or shoulders - they dont lay flat along the curve of a surface. They are ok on larger broad areas, like the lower back or leg calf or thigh. You cannot get different pads - the pads are permanently attached to the lead, which is a proprietary style connection to the unit. You're stuck with the one pad style. While the heat feature is nice, it doesn't compensate for the poor pad design. If Omron is your choice, this model is not it. I'd recommend an overall universally compatible manufacturer.

This tens unit is great the heat feature is so great only draw back is heat and stem alternate they don’t work together it’s only heat or only stem not both together but I am not disappointed at all as it still relieves the pain and gets me up and moving again 5*’s for sure! Also love the pouch it comes with to hold it all together in one place and compact and easy to take with you wherever you go.
