Women 1950s Vintage Dinner Dance Party Dress V-Neck Cocktail Prom Bodycon Dress

Had lots of compliments on this dress (though I am not as ladylike as it deserved). Bought a size up as it was very figure hugging and was afraid I would not be able to use it when bloated. But the fabric is great and holds you in perfectly. Recommend.

The cut is a sweetheart neckline, the description says deep V neckline, in reality your breasts would have to grow from your the top of your rib cage for the neckline to work and the darts to be in the correct place. I’ve put that’s it comes up large but having just checked the label, I was sent the large and not the medium. So I’m guessing that on a smaller size the neckline may be even higher. The style should look sexy and instead it makes you look frumpy. It is such a shame because the material is a lovely stretchy soft touch and the dress had the potential to be amazing if the neckline had been made properly. Really disappointing.

Perfect fit and very flattering. I love the look and find it terrific value for money. The dress was as described and is set to become one of my favourites!

I must admit not having too high expectations for the price but I am absolutely delighted with my dress. I bought it in navy blue. The fabric is soft and of good quality, which hugs my curves in a flattering way. I am 5ft 1, size 12 with a 34DD chest and I bought it in medium. I would describe it as both elegant and sexy. Other reviewers have commented that it doesn't show enough cleavage but perhaps that depends on the size of your assets and the size of your dress. I wanted a dress that showed a glimpse of cleavage but left something to the imagination too.

I was hoping to feel like a siren, working those hourglass curves to the max. Instead I found myself looking like a frump with the neckline ending a conservative 2 inches below my neck and absolutely no hint of cleavage shown. Safe to say the cut was not for a tall girl and I swiftly returned it. Sad - as I had wanted this to work.

This dress fits really well and is true to size. However I bought if for a date night but instead have been wearing it as a work dress. It is nearly to the knee, and although it has a stretch to it, like many of the other reviews, it is quite a high neck line, and does not show off a lot of cleavage in the way you'd expect a 50's style wiggle dress to fit.I imagine if you have an ample chest to begin with it might give more depth to the neckline, but I am not that small and feel it hasn't got the desired impact.However I would actually rebuy this again as for work as a teacher it is really appropriate and I have found it very smart and classy looking. I am a 10-12 mainly, and got a medium, and it has room to stretch. I would imagine though a small would nip under the arms so I would stick with this size.

Fantastic dress for the price! I bought this for fancy dress as Miss Argentina from Beetlejuice, I bought medium and I am a size 10/12. Quality is spot on and it looks great! Pretty sure I'll use it again! :)
