awesome for kids
these were so fun on our camping trip! my kids got the casting down right away, super easy for them! the quality was great no issues with either pole. easy to pack up quickly. would buy again.

Cute gift
This is a very cute fishing rod for a beginner. It doesn't seem to be the most durable so probably won't be long lasting but hopefully will last long enough to do some teaching. The colors were nice and vibrant and I liked the little bag that holds everything.

Unable to cast
We never tried to use this fishing pole until almost a year later. When we did make it to our fishing trip with our daughter we realized this pole would not cast. No matter what we did. There was a tiny spring on the inside that the fishing line got stuck on (which I think it was supposed to) but for whatever reason this one would not cast on it. Basically it was trash and we never even used it. Sadly it was way too late to return it so. Oh well. Don’t waste your money. Or try it as soon as you buy it. Lesson learned.

Red?
Color is not as described. I ordered red but received pink. I am not sure what to do with this now bc it was supposed to be for my son. Every time I click on red, it now shows in the description "pink" so it'll have to be a different color entirely.They are good quality bc his last one was great! But it got "lost" at the ex's. They come with several lures, little net, and the rod is actually pretty sturdy. The rod does collapse so it travels quite well. My son was able to use it even at 9 years old. Lures do have hooks so need to be careful but rod itself is kid friendly. Fishing line comes with it and pretty typical.
