Mozaik Eco-Friendly Plant-Based Compostable Cutlery Set, 80 pieces

Worth the price...2 days after the COVID-19 'Lockdown' went into effect, here in PA, my oil burner stopped working, leaving me...& my 2 Chihuahuas (Damian & Percy) without heat/hot water...& since no repair techs are allowed to enter our homes, I can't get it repaired until the safety restrictions are lifted...My neighbor is an 'essential worker'...& we have keys to each other's homes...so, I can shower there when she is working...& near-by laundromats are essential businesses, but still have to boil water to wash dishes, TRYING 2B as environmentally conscious as possible, I got paper plates & THESE...& thought I would be happy to get thru a meal without breaking, but was surprised by how sturdy they actually are...esp being 'eco-friendly'...when I started using them, I even found they were worth re-using...I just keep 2 of each for 'pup only' use & clean them last, with small amount of the same disinfectant I use for my masks...& added to the dish detergent/water, since COVID-19...then wash/rinse thoroughly with 'diluted' boiled water...I'm not saying they stand up to 'butcher block' cutlery...but yes, I have used them to cut meat/steak with no problem...& would highly recommend for...when we can, again have...those outdoor BBQs, parties, etc. I would even think them worthy of...hand...washing/storing in re-sealable bags, for another time...when you need, but don't want to use your 'silver/flatware'. STAY WELL/SAFE...

I ordered this set to get me through an extended period without water after winter storm pipe breaks. There was no way to wash silverware and cheap, throwaway plastic utensils were not appealing. Surprisingly, months later (still in temporary housing), these have survived many meals and trips through the dishwasher. They are more substantial than most and the design is clean and sculptural. I have only broken one piece, which is very different from the usual standard plasticware. The pieces are sturdy enough for reasonable use without breakage. This boxed set is a great ecological solution that should get you through a good outdoor season.

These are strong and work really well on everything! I could use the knife as a real knife to cut meat and the spoon to stir hot stuff and nothing melted or broke! I love these and I feel good using them because they are biodegradable and compostable!

I ordered these for a party in December, and they did not disappoint. None of the recyclable items broke, and all were recyclable. I also ordered recyclable plates and they did not disappoint either. Highly recommend for anyone who is trying to do the right thing for the environment.

These are very sturdy and very attractive. They are a bit small, however. Worked fine, but just felt small compared to our regular silverware. But most disposable silverware is smaller, so not a unique quality, I suppose. I would buy this again.

I love having disposable silverware when I’m entertaining but I also need it to be sturdy! These were great for everything, steak, chicken, veggies, and dessert! So grateful that they are eco friendly too!

I bought these for a birthday party so we could put everything in the compost. These are sturdy compared to most plastic utensils, and the knives cut really well. Glad there’s more forks than knives or spoons as the forks always run out first.

Other than that they were fine, but I ended up ordering larger pieces.

These look and feel just like plastic, very stiff with very little flex in them.Makes for good utensils except they snap easily.Everyone who has used these has had them break. Problem is they feel very strong but as soon as you put a little force they just snap suddenly and leave sharp ends.
