I've bought my fair share of first/last day signs and this one is by far the best I have gotten thus far! And THANK GOD. I got one last year that would not erase after using the liquid chalk markers. This one not only CAME with chalk that can use on it, it also cleans off liquid chalk markers flawlessly! No trace and didn't even need water (though water helps leave even cleaner). Was perfect and exactly what I was hoping for. It is in a sturdy wooden frame so I shouldn't have to buy another one of these signs every again!

This was a great first day of school sign! The frame made the thick chalkboard very sturdy and professional looking! After looking at reviews for many boards and many chalk markers, I was very afraid at how easy it would be to clean, as many appear to not clean well at all. I used a Bistro brand chalk marker from Joann's on the board, and it cleaned off very well with just a wet paper towel. It didnt leave any markings behind, no shadowy ghost words, you cant even tell the writing was there. Very impressed with that, as I will be able to use the board over and over again with my children. Makes it a great investment for my kids!

Looks really good. I wish it were a little bigger since it will be hard to read in pictures but overall it is cute. I like the wooden frame.

Great material and super easy to clean.It’s big enough to show up in photos but not too big where it’s the absolute center of attention for my photos. Great value! Definitely recommend, way better than the ones I’ve seen at stores.

This is just what I was looking for and good quality

Before this arrived I was bummed by the price but all of the other options seemed to be about the same so I went for this one because I liked the frame and overall look. Now that it’s here id say it’s worth the cost. Very cute, bright colors, erases easily. I used chalk markers bought separately. The chalk provided is pretty flimsy and crumbled when I tried to use, so I recommend buying a marker. Customer service is fantastic, they accidentally sent me 2 first days instead of a first and last day board and they made it right Immediately. 5 stars!

Must Have! Great Quality!I originally thought that this was one board with two sides. One side for First Day and one side for Last Day but this actually includes two separate boards. I usually end up buying new boards every year as our previous ones have been cheap and don't hold up well. I know that won't be the case with these. They are high quality with beautiful frames. Shipping took a little longer than I had hoped but they did make it in time for the First Day of School and they were worth the wait.
