Paragon Magic Cotton Candy Floss 4-Pound Easy Pour Bottle

We own the Nostalgia hard candy cotton candy machine. We tried using the hard candy and it worked great, but it wasn't giving us the true cotton candy flavor we love. My machine states I can use both cotton candy floss or hard candy, so I thought we'd give this floss a try. We purchased both the pink vanilla and blue raspberry flavors. They arrived today and I couldn't wait to try it. This stuff worked so much better than the hard candy. We used the scoop that came with the machine, and I was surprised how big and fluffy it turned out. One scoop made a regular sized cotton candy just like at the carnival or fair. With the hard candies I was getting just a small amount at a time. The flavor is the flavor I remember from my youth. Absolutely YUMMY!!! Will definitely buy this again when needed. But the 4lb container is so big, it should last us a very long time.

Doesn't have an apple flavor at all

Ya it is good, actually great, I just have to become better at making cotton candy and not clumping it. But it does have a good flavor when made into cotton but not so much in a glass of hot water (had to try it) it is okay by its self as well. It will leave your mouth, face, and teeth blue. It doesn't take much to make a cotton candy cone. I used a table spoon to make 2 cotton candy cones of relatively good size. We've made about 30 cones and still have not even got to the main body of the bottle (candy still in the neck). So I feel we can make a lot more from this bottle, and it was a hit at the wedding and will be a hit elsewhere also.

By itself, this product was very sour, and had no apple flavor at all, so I couldn't really use it as no one in the family liked just sour. I got the bright idea to order a jar of the flossine apple flavor without the sugar in it, and added it to the paragon green apple floss and OMG!!It was the best ever and then the sour worked because whats green apple without a little sour! So on its own it's not very good, but if you wish to invest the $15 in the jar of flossine then you definitely will not be disappointed and if you love green apple, you will love this mix. Tastes like fluffy jolly rancher! Yum! And I have tried the flossine in plain sugar and it is not as good as this cause it doesn't have the little sour kick!

It's a shame that Amazon doesn't offer more choices in the sizes of this product. I read the reviews and I thought this flavor would produce the original pink cotton candy flavored floss, but it's not quite the same. It's close, but the flavor is slightly different and the floss isn't quite as soft as I expected. I wasn't looking for any other flavor of floss, especially since the machine I bought works with any flavor of hard candy you want to try, so I'm a bit disappointed that I'm stuck with this huge container of sugar that isn't quite what I wanted. It would be nice if they offered smaller sizes, like pints, of original flavor floss sugar, and even nicer if they included one with the machine when you purchase it.

So happy I placed my order with this company! Order shipped quickly, was delivered before promised and size is great for the price. Took my cotton candy maker to my classroom for a fun activity for my fourth graders at the end of the year and they had a blast spinning their own delicious treats! The pink vanilla is my favorite flavor and is usually what I order but this floss sugar has the best flavor of any others I've ever ordered so I'm confident I'll be a return customer and may even try some of their other delicious flavors! I recommend this product with complete confidence to anyone with a sweet tooth and a cotton candy maker!

Great value compared to other products. Kids love the taste and colour but the extreme blue colouring stains fingers, lips and teeth.
