I truly felt like the actors really played their roles outstandingly
I truly felt like the actors really played their roles outstandingly. Because as a viewer in the space of amount of time of having watched the film. I believed that I even seem to know them as if they're my cool yet somewhat wicked friends. So the devasting ending of the story had made me feel so sympathetic but yet I knew what was meant to be will be. It's an extraordinary story with drastic coincidences due to a valued moral of lesson taught. This is that they're is no short cuts cause we ought to be abiding citizens by working hard. Henceforth, a citizen can only then know what to defend, protect and serve as their prize and true possession. Especially when preferably they've put all their might to earn what's rightfully deserved. The last woman standing she lost alot of close loved friends and a family member. But she'll have to live with haunted memories of what they past through for the rest of her life. Whereas with having landed with a heap pile of money it's only known to be good for buying materialistic things. Am certain she's got a whole new outlook on life for herself and she wouldn't wish the tragic event to be repeated again. So there's a much more prosperous future if only she chose the second time around to go about it the righteous way. Anyhow, we live and learn and mark my words although sometimes it can be the harder way than others have gone through. All in all let's hope we only get better with goodwill to all mankind.

I'm not crying!
Great set up, a few moments I thought were highly stereotypical, however this was 1996.It's sad to see themes in this that are replaying at the moment and seemed to force the women into doing what they did. throughout the film you get a huge sense pf their personalities and personal difficulties and why they think this is there only way out of there current situation. Overall a really great film that explores some African American working class cultural issues, ie the mother trying to work but working doesn't even afford a baby sitter. We se it repeated so many times.I would definitely say its worth a watch!

I absolutely love this film
Such a brilliant film, can't believe its over 20 years old. Good ending too. Came very quickly too. Shame there aren't more film extras as would like to have known a little more about the making of it.

Set it off 2 NEEDED!!!
Excellent movie, and still so relatable after all these years. I cant relate from personal experience, but I can from what I see in society; especially in the US.
