HanesWomen's Just Plus Size Cotton Jersey T-Shirt, Short Sleeve V-Neck Tee

So I tried to post a review with my body size and pics because I know seeing other pictures and people's sizes help me. But Amazon said I didn't follow the community guidelines - which I don't understand, am I not allowed to talk badly about myself? I know what I look like! But anyways I'm going to try again.One thing that bothers me, is I tried to post a review about both of the shirts that I bought: I bought two different colors in two different sizes, so thought I could do two reviews. But apparently I cannot and so I wonder if that was part of the problem. Guidelines mentioned if you post too many reviews it could be considered spam (WHAAAAAAAAT?!?!).Anyway, i prefer a crew neck because I'm modest. You can see what these look like on my body. I may not necessarily like the way they look on me, but they are nice t-shirts :)Blue shirt 3x, pink shirt 4x.SUPER COMFORTABLE!!!!

Happy days. Just got my tops, purple and robin blue. So pretty and flattering. No easy feat for this big girl. I got these cause I've been sick and not able to get around. Really packed on the pounds. So I didn't want to spend a lot of money cause I'm hoping this size is temporary. The colors are beautiful. Nice weight to the fabric. Not that cheap scrap that pills first time you wash it. The sleeves are not tight on my large arms. The length hits just past my hip. And it covers my belly. Drapes nicely off my 46DD'S. Doesn't hug and show off my back fat. I will be buying more hopefully in smaller sizes but if not. The 4X looks great.

I give this v-neck shirt 5 Stars because 1.) it came as described, 2.) the fabric is not only a nice thick cotton but it is very soft, and 3.) I did order one size up but that is only because this shirt is cut to hug your curves and not be boxy. I wanted my shirt to be a bit looser and be able to go in the dryer without shrinking too small.I got the black v-neck. I washed mine right away, but I did use Woolite for black clothes. I usually line dry anything I don't want shrinking, but I put this through on a low heat setting. I am 5'8" and find some shirts will not shrink in the width but will shrink in the length. This shirt did not shrink in the length at all! I feel it fits through the torso just right. Not too baggy, but also not so snug that it shows every ripple and buldge. If I bought a 2X, my usual size, I would have line dried it. It probably would have fit just fine, but I am glad I went up a size.I liked this shirt so much I bought a second one. I am just as happy with my second one as I am with the first. It fits exactly the same and washed really well. I will buy this shirt again. I will keep looking to see if they add colors.

Great product, material is very good and fits exactly true to size! One of my staple items in my closet!

Reviews were all over about these tops. I still have a couple jms tees that must be 15 years old but are soon to be turned into rags. I wanted a casual tee that is all cotton with sleeves that are not too tight or too short. I have blended tees that fit through the body but the sleeves make my arms look like sausage stuffed into a small casing and they tend to sink into creases. I am 5'3", 230 lbs, bust measures 47", waist 46 1/2", hips 51". I have broad shoulders and chubby arms. The circumference of the top of my arm measures 16 1/2" and length from top of shoulder to elbow bend is7 1/2". I normally wear a 3x or 2x sometimes. The 2 pictures on the left are the 4x I ordered after reading they run small. It was bigger than I would like and seemed like a true 4x. I washed it in cold water and dried on normal, hoping it would shrink a littles as some had complained they did. It did not shrink at all. I took a chance and ordered 3 in a 3x. hoping the sizing would be accurate. These fit the way I like and those are the 2 pics on the right. The sleeves are not too short or tight., the armholes fit normally and comfortably and the v neck is not too low for me. The cotton is soft. Some complained it is scratchy but mine are not at all. The length goes to the top of my thighs in front and bottom of my butt in back and the scoop hem is very slight as is the cut through the sides. The material does not stick in creases yet is not real thick. They should be comfortable in hot weather. I washed the 3 x's in cold water and dried on delicate just to be sure they didn't shrink. There was no shrinkage on these either. They all fit the same. I had gotten 2 more in the blue and 1 grey. The stitching and seams are good and the v neckline still laid flat after washing. The pictures posted are after the shirts were washed. You do need to get them out of the dryer right away or I am sure they will wrinkle a lot. Considering some of the reviews, I don't know if I just got lucky or if the mfg. has made quality changes but I am very happy with the shirts I got and they are true to my normal size. I wanted a casual shirt for around the house in 100% cotton, running errands or a casual restaurant and these fit the bill for my needs. Some say these fit boxy and I suppose you could say they do since the side dip is not as much as many womens shirts are made but I don't want shirts that pull tight across my belly.

I've been buying these t-shirts for many, many years. I still have one from probably 15 years ago that's now paint splattered and holey.Over the years I've noticed a number of things. The shape has changed and not in a good way. It seems like they've gotten smaller, but the armsyce has gotten huge. I don't know or see many women with upper arms the size of thighs. Also, the material: it's just not what it used to be. I preferred them when they were a bit thinner.For reference, I wear a 40I bra - yes, very large - and I'm almost 6' tall and weigh 190-200lbs. I buy a larger size to accomodate my breast size. While I used to buy these in a 2X, I know buy them in a 4x. I can still wear my old 2x tees, the cut was better. So now with the 4x, they kind of swim on me from mid-section down. Ive never had a problem with the length, but it certainly has varied over the years.With all this being said, I still buy them because the price is right and they last.

Shirt is a good deal but I find the sizing a bit off. I would suggest ordering up a size as it was quite tight. I take a 3x at addition elle tee and ordered the same in this. Its super snug. Not wearable at the moment. Also, its a bit short in length I find. I’m 5’10”. So keep all that in mind when ordering. If you get the fit right, it will be a great plain black tee.

I bought two of these shirts.One is the 1x -- Bought for work because my job is physical and I feel better having a larger shirt so I know that it won't creep up on me as I move around.The second is a 5x. The five x is MILES too big for me and that's exactly how I wanted it. I wanted something large and very over sized to wear to bed and lounge around the house.I love them both. They have washed up well, decent quality and comfortable. I've order two more the same sizes in different colours.

MAKE SURE TO SIZE UP! I lovveeeeee these shirts! Super light for the summer but DO NOT put them in the dryer or they WILL shrink! I’m normally a 3X and for it too fit loose and baggy I ordered a 5X! LOVE IT

I originally (month ago) wrote a good review of these shirts, but they have changed. They say colours other than grey are 100 percent cotton, the tag on the shirt says this too, but they aren't anymore. They have some type of man made material in them that is stretchy. That probably appeals to some, but not to me, if it's not cotton, please don't say it's cotton!

Glad I listened to the other reviews. I normally wear an XL - 1X but bought a 3X after reading the reviews. A XL would have been way too small. I like my Tshirts loose and comfy and the 3X fits that bill even if it shrinks a bit after washing which I haven't done yet. It's a nice soft 100% cotton tshirt so will likely shrink in the wash. I don't like to put my 100% cotton Tshirts in the dryer so will be hanging this to dry.
