I really don’t like to leave negative reviews, but when I feel that I have been deceived into buying a product where the seller knows it cannot be returned, I have to warn others. I have purchased this finishing spray 2x in the past from a salon and the smell is great, it works amazing!But, against my better judgement, I purchased it here during a prime day sale, and it is absolutely not the same product. Immediately the smell is an overpowering alcohol smell and then an underlying scent of just stench. It smells like old water. I tried it anyway and, hoping that it would dissipate and turn into what I was expecting it to be…it did not. The hold and finish was not the same. I could’ve gotten a better hold from dollar store AquaNet.I did try contacting customer service as this is a non-returnable item, but have had no success in return it. I definitely feel duped and $25 completely wasted thrown away down the toilet. This is definitely a case of buying and paying more at the salon is worth it

I was told to never buy this product off Amazon and they were right. I originally got this brand from a professional stylist and LOVED it. When I ran out I bought it off Amazon. NEVER AGAIN. The quality is trash! Nothing like the one from a professional..... I wasted 25.00 😭😭

I was pleased to find Surface spray on Amazon. My hairdresser recommended it years ago and I've been using it ever since, but it's been almost impossible to find locally anymore. It's just wonderful! It provides just a light finishing touch after I've "fixed" my hair. My hair isn't stiff like some sprays, and moves naturally while still maintaining the style. There are probably others that work this way, but it is the only one I've found. I love it!
