Q: Getting mixed info here - is it an automatic or does it run on a battery? Don't answer if you do not know the difference.

This is 100% battery operated watch. I don't know why someone would say it's automatic. I've been in the watch business for years and I've seen it all. battery life should be about 4 years for the original one. I'm looking at the watch as i'm responding to your answer. and this is NOT automatic.Thanks!

Q: How to get a spare watch strap? The one I got is now weathered and in dire need of a replacement strap!

Hi VGD,You'll need to take the watch in to a Bulova authorized center or look for a spare band that matches your lug width and take the watch in to any jeweler and they should be able to replace the band for you. I don’t know, but I would call Bulova parts and replacement to see if they have one. 800-233-3350 service@bulova.com They helped me with another watch that I own.
