This robe is the snuggliest, coziest thing I have ever experienced. It is vaguely like being swallowed by some sort of incredibly soft, squishy stuffed animal, in the best possible way. My husband insisted on cuddling me and my dog literally rubbed his face all over robe-covered-me making blissful little grunty noises. I am now going to explore alternative career options that would allow me to give up regular clothes and just wear these robes 24/7, because they are heavenly. I am 67 and don't like to be cold, and can't wear anything HEAVY! We recently purchased a hot tub for all my ailments and I was apprehensive (to say the least) at using our tub in Kentucky Winters. OH WOW! First off, I look like a grizzly bear! It LOOKS heavy, but it's not. What it is, is... VERY warm! I mean, it is so warm (and soft) that I've sat outside on my winter patio watching my husband decorate for the holidays and stayed warmer than with my warmest winter coat! But, I bought it for the hot tub -- INSTANT warmth, no mater what the temperature has been... even WET! The hood is great because my hair is always getting wet. The hood is huge so it will also cover my face to warm it instantly. I couldn't be happier... or warmer... with my purchase. I've washed it several times and it washes beautifully! If you like your hot tub during winter months, I highly recommend this robe!

I really liked the robe. It's long, warm, and cozy, great for nestling. My husband ordered a L/XL and it is HUGE and I mean huge. I'd say it's real size is around a 2X. He wanted me to have it right away so he went ahead and ordered the SM/MED before returning the other one. HUGE mistake. The wrapper on the new robe said SM/MED but when opened it was another HUGE L/XL. So disappointed. We travel alot and unfortunately weren't able to return in time. I just tried it back on thinking maybe it wasn't so bad but I'll never wear it because of how HUGE and bulky it is. (For reference, I'm 5'7", approx. 155 lbs).

We are living in South Korea and I needed soft ,thick and warm robe for sitting out side with my hubby. Some ppl commented too big but I like that big robe so I can wear thick pajamas under robe. I love this robe so very much. I wish I had this last year fall and winter. I washed with washer machine and put them in dryer machine but no damaged or no mess for other clothes washed together.

I was sorry to have to return this robe because the fit and style was just what I wanted and it was nice and warm. The problem was the fabric, which I was expecting to be like a nice fleece blanket, but it was sort of clumpy, not smooth, and reminded me more of cheap stuffed animal fur. Worst of all, it shed all over the sofa I was sitting on. Not just a little, a lot. I was already sort of disappointed but when I saw that I decided to keep on looking for my perfect robe. From reviews I have read, it looks like they use a nicer fabric for the men's robes. I wish they had used the good stuff for my robe! I wanted to love this robe, but alas, it was crummy.

Beware this robe is enormous. Great as a 1x,2x or even 3x robe! Or Great Easter Bunny costume. Or snuggie! The shoulder width is 25", yet the average women's shoulders are 15". I am 5'5" and 120lbs and wear a size small in clothing.

I am happy with the size. I wanted something that would be larger than my normal size. So, I heeded all the comments and didn't order up from my regular size. It's nice and roomy, just like I wanted. The only drawback is that it isn't as thick as I thought, or hoped it would be. I'm concerned, as my plan was to use it for traveling from the house to where the hot tub will be located (when it arrives). I don't believe it will be very warm. It looks like I'll end up wearing two robes in order to accommodate the cold. The good news is, this robe is large enough for me to do that! The "fleece" is more "wool-like" than smooth, so yes, I do understand what some reviews mean regarding the texture. I wouldn't say I like it, but if it does the job of keeping me warm between the hot tub and the house, it's all that matters to me.
