Good watch, good warranty, great customer service!
I bought this watch for my 6 year old daughter to remind her of potty time at school. Setup was easy, there are plenty of alarm options, and the vibration is strong enough that it would be hard to miss it. She also loved the steps tracker. Unfortunately, 11 months after we bought it she managed to snap one of the plastic tabs that holds the wristband on. Another review here mentioned a similar situation and said they got a replacement after contacting customer service. I checked their website and they actually have a pretty comprehensive 12 month warranty. I emailed customer service with pictures of the damage and the original order date and within a few days they had a new watch in my hands. They were very responsive and the whole experience was hassle free.

Great Customer Service!
I bought this for my 5 year old daughter since she wanted to be like the big kids and track her steps, but I didn't want to spend $100+. She loves it. It did exactly what we needed. The only part about the mobile app I found annoying was that you have to have the watch right next to your phone to manually update it or it doesn't sync. After about 3 months, we started having issues with the battery losing a charge quickly. Then one day I couldn't get it to charge at all. I left a review with the company and they immediately contacted me about things to try to get it to charge. It worked, however, it still wasn't holding a charge as long as it should. They then sent me a replacement for free and I didn't even ask! Very impressed with their customer service and my daughter is happy she got to keep using this watch.

Works great for a kid, excellent customer service
My son loves tracking his steps and it’s great for keeping him active. After a few months it broke off at the band. Customer service was prompt in responding and sending out a replacement immediately. Very impressive customer service!

Solid option for a slight price
We wanted to find an inexpensive fitness tracker for our very active son. I'd seen favorable reviews of the Biggerfive Slim Fitness tracker and was positively surprised by the LOW price. We previously had owned the kids FitBit tracker as well as the Garmin activity tracker. While the app interface on those two items was nicer, for a pure freestanding activity tracker, this little unit is hard to beat. In addition to the agreeable price, the built-in charge design was slick and we like the overall aesthetic. With other activity trackers, the actual tracker somehow kept getting dislodged from the watchband.I was disappointed when the Slimfit simply died a few weeks into use, but the Customer Support quickly provided an entirely new unit after verifying that it was being charged correctly. The other one must have had a bad battery because this one's battery is lasting MUCH longer. You do need to connect the device to a tablet or phone for some of the set up and obviously to download and archive the activity. The app is intended for a phone but is usable on a tablet too, just not sized well for that format. The sleep monitoring seemed off on the original, defective unit but our son and we were mainly curious how many steps he was getting in this summer.I would recommend giving this option a go for essential activity tracking.

Stopped working after less than two months
I gave this to my child for Christmas. On February 12 it just stopped being able to charge or turn on.We enjoyed it while it worked. My kid loved it and found it easy to use. One accuracy issue we had was that it counted steps while traveling by car though usually only a couple hundred. You cannot set the initial date and time without downloading and connecting the app (I had originally thought I could get away without the app). The app works pretty well, though the view that shows the line charts with your steps over time changes the Y axis scale from week to week, which makes sense for optimizing space on a one-week view but is quite confusing if you are scrolling through your weeks looking for your personal high records. My kid really liked looking through his week on the app.

UPDATE On the fence...
Updating below review, 5 stars for customer service, 3 (but pending--could end up being higher--for device):After posting my jury-is-still-out review below, I received a message from the merchant expressing their concern about my experience and offering to send a new device at no extra cost=excellent customer service. However, because I really don't want to add to the amount of electronics and detritus being added to the landfill, I'm still holding onto the original in hopes that the performance improves. It still unpairs from the phone app and zeroes out occasionally, but when all is said and done, it has accounted for all of my steps at the end of the day, and that's what I wanted. So for the little bit of hassle, I'm still fairly pleased with it, and if it continues to be buggy I have the merchant's promise to replace it.Original review:I purchased this based on fairly positive reviews. Wanted something light, inexpensive, no bells and whistles--essentially just a step tracker. I'd been using an app on my phone but bc there are times I'm not carrying it--for instance at exercise class--it wasn't counting a full day's steps. As far as light, inexpensive, etc, check, check and check. As far as accuracy goes, this device might over count, so the truth probably lies somewhere in between the phone app and this device. But the biggest issue is it often just stops working. The screen/display gets stuck on zero and no amount of tapping or swiping changes that, so I have to re-sync it through the app. At no time is the device further than 30 feet from the phone/app, so it should not "un-pair." Fortunately re-syncing has worked and the data is saved, but I feel like I shouldn't have to go through that process. Not sure whether I'll put up with it or return it: mean, it's kind of a champagne problem in light of everything else going on in the world. But wanted to post this review in case it's of help to others.

Excellent Customer Service, Great Fitness Tracker for Kids
We originally bought this fitness tracker as a Christmas present for our 9 year old son and were looking for an option with a band to fit a small wrist. This one was great and came with a blue and a black band, which our son liked! It also fits an adult wrist so it has a good range. It paired easily with the app and was simple to set up (our 9 and 11 year old figured it all out for the most part). After a few weeks we had one of the sides snap off while playing hockey but we contacted the company and they responded quickly and sent a replacement. This one has been working great! We will be more careful in changing the bands as perhaps it was an issue of young boys not being careful about putting pressure in the right direction when swapping out the bands. This is an affordable and terrific option for children. The screen is very responsive and the battery life is great. Not sure about the accuracy. It definitely doesn't count sleep hours accurately but my son also moves around a lot in his sleep. Steps seem to record high but we may just need to adjust the personal settings. It's been a good motivator to stay active and compete with his brothers in fun comparison of 'stats'. Thankful for friendly, prompt help in fixing the first issue and totally happy with this option for a kid's fitness tracker.

Good step counter but...
I bought this for our 10yo and here are the pros and cons.Pros: - it's quite comfortable on his little wrists. It doesn't stick out or is huge.- It does an ok job of step counting but I use it as an approximate. Not exact as it counts steps even when he is moving his hand which he does while waving his pencil during his homework. It stil excites him to see his steps.- Promotes independence. He is able to estimate how much playtime he has left and follow his routine.Cons:- Very reliant on the phone app and the phone being around.I bought it so that he can wake himself up with the alarm that I set. We found that if I leave home before him, the alarm doesn't go off as my phone is not connected to the watch.- he can't do much independently on the watch. Can't set his own alarm, can't turn on and turn off "wrist sense"(the watch lights up when he turns his wrist to see the time). He needs me to do all this on the phone while I am near him.I can't read his sleep or activity reports unless he is close to me so that the watch syns. Otherwise it is out of sync most times.Other than the above, it's a good beginner watch and you get what you pay for.

Happy customer!
We purchased this watch for our active 10 year old daughter for Christmas who wanted a “smart” watch. We’re a family with 5 children, and this watch was in my budget, met all our needs and came with more than one band. My daughter was thrilled when she opened it, she was able to set it up herself, set alarms, activity goals, receive text messages when on wifi, and wore it everyday (never in the shower or pool) until mid-June when the band broke with part of the charging port inside. She was devastated. We found the box, reviewed the warranty, and contacted the company by email asking for a replacement at the same time as providing our receipt, an explanation and a photo.I sometimes feel like customer service is a thing of the past but not here, my customer service experience was EXCEPTIONAL - our request was acknowledged quickly, details were confirmed (address, colour options) and there was a follow up to make sure we received the new fitness tracker/watch and that we were satisfied. It was positive and refreshing to deal with a company in this way in a warranty situation, no hassles, no running around or waiting. We’re so happy with the watch as well as the customer service experience we had dealing with a warranty issue. If you’re looking for a basic, gender neutral, easy set up, durable watch with some fitness tracking and a long battery life this one is the one for you (or your child, or your teenager)

In daily use for almost 2 years now!
I've worn this fitness tracker every day for almost 2 years, and I absolutely love it. The charge lasts about 10 days, the display is easy to read and to re-configure to vertical, the band is comfortable. It does the simple tasks I want it to do.Note: I've read many people saying that the device broke where the band pulls off, which must be done to attach the watch to a charger. The band IS a tight fit at this connecting point. The band MUST be angled correctly when attaching and detaching. I think that's the issue. If you yank it off at the wrong angle, I can see that it's likely to break. I've never had a breakage in all this time.Another note: I'm not the target market for this device (a child) but a woman with a skinny wrist, and this is the first fitness tracker that fits well and, I think, looks good!
