Simple Houseware 2 PK - Stuffed Animals Jumbo Toy Storage Hammock, Dark Blue

More than a toy holder
I bought these as a net to prevent baby birds from falling out of their nest and onto concrete. It's great! Plus, it is a 2 pack so I put the other one in my daughter's room to be used as intended; for toys and stuffed animals.

Not bad
These hold a lot of stuffies and the material seems pretty durable compared to nets ive bought in the past, however I would suggest you place the corner hook a little lower than the other two, otherwise it kind of turns into a swing with everything looking on the verge of spilling out. Also, don’t use the sample measurements on the directions, it’s not even close. I took 2 photos to show the effects of not stretching the net far enough. I would buy again now that I now better how to hang these

Works
It’s nice. Just not what I was expecting. I have one in my kids play room that I bought a long time ago and it’s different than these. These ones are basically just a giant circle net. It’s nice that it came with two though. I wanted one for each of my kids rooms. I attached one to my girls bunk bed with string and it works. Now I just have to see if my son is scared of the snake hanging when it’s bedtime. Haha

Works Great
I can't really complain about these, they work great and they weren't all that hard to install (putting anchors in drywall is always a nuisance in my house because the 50s era drywall it uses is much harder than plastic anchors).I don't particularly think this will end up being durable though, as there's no reinforced area for the hooks, you just use them anywhere along the netting, and I just can't see the netting holding up to any strain from my child (who's already climbing up on her toy furniture and pulling the animals out from it, even at 3 years old).EDIT: I changed my rating to 5 stars. These have been up for a year, loaded down heavily, with my daughter pulling things out of them regularly, and they look the same as when I bought them. There’s nothing I would change at this point.

Perfect for inevitable accumulation of “stuffies”
My daughter has more stuffed animals than I know what to do with them. I limit and purge every so often, but between gifts, souvenirs, and impulse buys... her stuffed animals seem to multiply! This was a good solution to her toy overpopulation! Stuffed animal bean bag storage was also great.

Not thrilled with these
We got two of these, one for each of our kids, to hold the stuffed animals that were taking over their beds. First issue we had was that they really can't be used along a wall effectively...the front edge will be much higher than the contents of the net, so you'd need to have it close to the ground for kids to be able to reach in and get something near the bottom. This was an issue in my daughter's room, as she didn't have any corners free at a child's height. We wound up putting it higher up the wall in a corner in her room, just to use as longer-term storage for the stuffed animals she didn't play/sleep with too often. This wasn't an issue in my son's room, as we had an available corner at his height.Enter the second issue. While they are able to hold a lot in terms of volume (size), the weight they can support is a different story. We didn't load them up too heavily, but both tore slightly. Again, not a huge problem in his room, but in hers, the sudden shift when it tore at 6am one morning caused her biggest stuffed animal to tumble out...which then landed on her dresser, knocking off a ceramic "piggy" bank (it's a heart shape, but I digress), and breaking it.Waking up to her sobs was not what I expected from these...and even though I can't blame the net for the piggy bank breaking, I would not purchase these again, and would recommend only if/when they won't be used for much at all (in which case, why are you looking for one with such a large, albeit theoretically, storage capacity?).

Holy Cuddly's!!!
Wow these hold and incredible amount of stuffed animals (Cuddly's according to my little guy. He had recently taken to insisting that every single one of those animals was on his bed with him every night. Obviously there wasn't Room for him in his bed. This is the perfect compromise and he loves that they are all together with "their friends".Obviously the mainpositive is how much the nets hold, they also stretch but not too much and seem pretty durable.. There are definitely negatives though, first there are there are no marked areas or loops to hang on the hooks that are included. This makes the nets more difficult to hang as you have to try to figure out the best spots and put the books through the net itself. I'm concerned that they will rip over time from the weight of the cuddly's. Also the wall anchors that come with hardware are really cheap and not sturdy. They are workable though. Last, the directions on how to hang and where to place the books could be clearer. Overall I'd definitely recommend this product. The positives far outweigh the negatives. No picture can do it Justice there's Probably about a 120~150 in there and they range from very small to literally gigantic. There is like a 3 1/2 foot tall mickey in the top one along with others that are very large. I took a picture of the bottom of one of the nets to try to illustrate the sheets volume that the net is holding. I'll be purchasing more for my other little guys room.

I am apprehensive about their long term durability
My wife ordered these and I don't know what to say... I think they are kind of dumb. Let me explain. As a dad, I tend to see how things can malfunction and what I will have to do to fix it when it fails. These are installed with three drywall anchors, one of which they tell you to install in the corner. It's the only thing I've ever seen that has you install an anchor in a corner. Anyway, I can see these anchors ripping out very easily and me having to repaid the drywall. Also the mesh seems very fragile so I can see them tearing and becoming useless in short order. That being said, they've been in service for about 3 weeks now and have thus far held up although my apprehension remains.

Exactly What I was Looking for!
Great product and exactly the type I was looking for.I purchased the Jolly Jumper brand first, but it wasn't what I had in mind. This one is perfect, because it isn't endlessly stretchy like other brands. Fill it up and it stays put and doesn't bounce.Hanging info:Corner hook is 14" below the ceiling.Sides are 11.5" below the ceiling, (right above the windowsill) and each one is 4 feet from the corner hook.I wanted the back to be lower so that nothing would fall out of the front. I'm glad that I did.

Great value!
Very nice product and great value, build quality seems to be exceptional at this time of this review. Thank you for yet another great customer experience to both parties, Amazon and the seller!

Perfect for this collector!
What you’re looking at in that photo is the stuffed animal collection of a 20 year old mom. I’ve collected stuffed animals for years and gone through many nets, but this one has never once done me dirty. The screws don’t come loose and the net doesn’t droop too low or have all my little buddies come spilling out. (As fun as it sounds, stuffed animal avalanches are not ideal) and the net has never ripped and the hooks have never dropped through the net! I definitely recommend these nets for anyone looking to buy some!Pro tip: these nets come with corkscrew hooks, so I wouldn’t use them in an apartment and would recommend starting the hole with a thumb tack, and then screw the hook into the hole. It makes set up SO much easier. And even if you do live in an apartment, you can buy sticky hooks to hang these nets! Not sure how well that would work as I haven’t tried it, but it’s worth a shot!

It serves its purpose
This wasn't what I thought it was when I purchased it. It serves it's purpose fine, however I didn't know that it was elastic. I prefer the other style where it's not. I don't like that it just continues to stretch and stretch, and then it droops. The more it stretches to hold the more pressure it puts on the wall and can cause the hooks to come out causing a hole. The quality seems to be fine, installing was fine. It serves it's purpose and does what it's supposed to do. I would just prefer non elastic.

Inexpensive, and works well
Does the trick for my kids insane amount of stuffed animal. I couldn't get into their bedrooms so I had to buy these. They do exactly as intendedThe only complaint I have is, where the hooks go on the mesh, if you don't have it perfectly divide into the 3 hooks, the mesh will tear.I wish they had a more durable tag to put each hook in the corners. Not a deal breaker for me. It only cause minor damage and doesn't affect the performance of the product.
