"Vp racing," though not rated for gasoline?
The jugs are incredible overbuilt though I noticed that it says that they're not meant to carry gasoline. I don't know if that's something they have to state in order to maybe avoid some kind of jug requirement or taxes, I don't know. But I just find it weird that for a company that's in the racing industry, to have a statement as such on their jugs. Though I did fill the jugs with gasoline and so far they've done well. Haven't mistreated them or anything like that so can't say how well they handle abuse. But by the way they feel, it's safe to say that they'll handle any situation just fine.

Best jugs for gas storage
Seal tight to keep the fuel fresh. I load up four of these in the fall for gas for my generator as we have frequent power outages during the winter. What I don't use I put in the summer equipment come spring.I keep one cap with a long spout for filling things. The rest just have a cap. Well worth the price.

Quality cans at affordable price and no PITA EPA spouts.
Quality cans that can be used for a variety of things from liquids to dry goods. Sold as fuel cans but can be used for storing feed or anything else really.Opening is large enough to make filling easy with dry or liquids. Can is tall enough that when filling with fuel bending down to hold fuel nozzle in can isn't necessary for me.Sold as a 5 gallon capacity but will hold a bit over 6 gallons. If filling it that much with liquid then the liquid level may be above the vent when trying to pour from the can using the spout. This will cause a large leaking mess. This is not a problem unless the can is almost completely full tho.Vent is easy to use and seals well when closed. It is a threaded type with a gasket seal so none of the annoying snap button style that was prone to breaking off and getting lost on cans from a decade or so ago. Has an attached strap to keep vent lid with can but in my experience the vent does not have to be completely removed to function well, just unscrew it a few turns and it provides enough air flow for pouring.Large lid is O-ring sealed and has a pipe thread plug in center that can be left in if using for dry good storage or transport of liquid. Plug in center of large lid does not seal perfectly on its own in the event of jug getting knocked over but it is a very minor leak. You may wish to apply a thread sealer if you want to make sure it does not leak at all, just make sure whatever you use is compatible with whatever is in the jug. The plug itself is easy to remove or install and has a 1/2 inch square drive opening to facilitate in tightening or removing. I use a 1/2 inch drive extension and get it hand tight. The spout tube is ok. I like the clear tubing as it allows you to see the flow of liquid and the screen in the spout is a nice touch I guess as it could prevent some contaminants from getting into whatever you are filling. The tube is fairly long which is a blessing and a curse. It will allow you to reach some things that a typical gas can will not with their shorter, mostly non-flexible spout. But it can also force you to be further away from what you are filling and that can sometimes make it difficult to see if what you are filling is full without it overflowing. The spout tube is very flexible but i suggest buying the 'benders' that hold a curve in the house without kinks to make using a full can easier. You can do without the bender if you want but it helps when using a full can and they are cheap enough. The price of these is comparable to the price of 'standard' fuel cans found in most stores and IMO these are much better.

Hurricane prep
If you live in a hurricane prone area these are a must for prep. No splash when filling the generator. The square ones store great and wonโt fall over in the back of the truck on the way home from the fueling station. Seals nice and tight to keep air out. Pours so fast, No bubbling or trying to suck air. The clear hose is so rewarding watching a straight flow into whatever Iโm filling. If you are still wrestling with one of the old red cans with the stupid stout this can will change your life. Thanks vp!!!

Nice cans, but one has a leaking lid
Great gas cans, but one of my cans did not have a seal in the lid and leaks.

These are simply the best "plastic utility jugs" on the market. Sturdy. Non-leaking.
These are super sturdy and they could even hold diesel or racing fuel if that were allowed by governments like California.
