Works as intended
It’s a bit of a pain to fit the wires in because there’s so little room but it works. I used this for a new recirculating range hood as the one it replaced already had an outlet above it.

As advertised
Product worked just fine. The size was a little larger than my original but had not impact upon performance. I would buy again.

Some skill required (and zip ties)
Bought these because they are compact. Because of that, they don't really have room for "traditional" features, such as secure wire clamps and strain relief. Requires some skill to attach the wires in a way that doesn't just push them out of the way when you screw it down. Essentially I needed to tie a knot around each screw before screwing it down. There is a sort of "strain relief" on each wire, in that there is a little hook to tuck the wire under that guides them out the center. I added a zip tie for strain relief of the main cable coming out. Be careful though, because only certain orientations will fit the large head of the zip tie. Overall they accomplish what I wanted, but can't give them 5 stars because they aren't inherently safe or easy to use.

Seems good quality
I used these to replace broken ends on an extension cord that I had. They were easy to use and have held up nicely.

Good quality at a reasonable price
This type of plug can be frustrating to install without some practice that is usually only had by electricians. I am not an electrician but have installed various types of replacement plugs before for my personal use. What I like about this design is that it ends up looking like the factory plug with a little difference in dimensions (larger). It has the tapered body that doesn't tend to get hung up while retrieving the cord as much as the "mushroom" style plugs. For those who have no experience, the key is to cut the conductors to just the right length to secure in the terminals while allowing the cable jacket (outer material covering all three conductors) to be clamped securely by the strain relief. Getting the correct color conductor on the right terminal is ABSOLUTELY CRITICAL. Don't be afraid to start over if it doesn't look right. Look for online instructional videos and revive those old extension or appliance cords with ripped jackets and exposed conductors using replacement plugs (or receptacle ends) and fixing them. Copper is getting more expensive thus making new cords pricey. Older extension cords with mostly good jackets are possibly better made as well.

screws not coded very bad for novice armatures
the screws not color coded very re not careful attaching the wire ends to the correct screws look out as the screws are not color coded green for ground dark head for hot and silver for neutral ... i had to remember that the black goes to the plug that is the largest and neutral the small blade bad for novices and armatures ...

Dangerous and myopic internal design
The screws holding the internal wires do not secure the three wires. If installed the wires can pull out when separating this cord from other cords or outlets. There are electrical dangers and potential fire hazards. Please consider expert evaluation and delisting of this item and others that are similar..The same design is for sale in different combinations listed closeby this item.Other reviews say the same things that I am.I enjoy your products and system. But this one can do real harmful particularly to trusting persons who may not see the possibilities of this design. Contact me if you like.Best RegardsThomas Barrett
