AeroGarden, Harvest Elite - Stainless Steel

Welcome to the jungle, pods grow fast especially the basil. I have cut down 3 times in the 54 days its been running and its grown back upto top. The mint and thyme took a while to get started but now growing nice. Only problem with this item is the pods are too close together, the key to this is to trim regularly. Water runs out very fast when all plants at full size. I personally think they should of made unit wider so pods have more space and this would also increase water tank size

I bought this as a present for my wife, and we planted the pods that came with it in January. It's been almost 6 months and we are still harvesting the herbs came with it! Looking forward to try other batches of plants with this. Definitely recommend!Build quality is nice, stainless steel keeps a bit fingerprint but not hard to clean.

I'm overall happy with the purchase and surprised what you can grow in house. Instructions how to set up garden are very clear and selection of herbs grown in house are also excellent. I'm little bit dispapointed how slow parsley is growing but generaly all good. Oh dear, the italian basil got eaten by mouse! but it's ok now

After 14months the lights stopped working, as it was out of warranty I decided to open it up to see if it could be repaired as I am a qualified electrical engineer.When removed the base I was horrified to find the way the item had been assembled, some of the wiring was trapped between the two halves of the base and the insulation had been cut through.The lights had stopped working because the wiring had been so badly damaged during assembly it had been cut through.This could have been a possible fire hazard.I replaced the damaged wiring and rooted them so they would not get trapped and stuck them in place with sticky pads and cable ties.

Only had this a few weeks but five out of the six herbs have sprouted. Nowhere near ready to start pruning but hopefully will be ready in a few more weeks.Easy enough to set up and run once you have read all the literature - they seem to look after themselves and the system does all the reminding for you. Looking forward to some fresh herbs in due course.Just to update - number six has now started to sprout so we will eventually have some mint. :-)The only negative is that the light is retina burning bright when located in a living area! You either need to put this in a room that is rarely used, a cupboard under the stairs or, as I have done, put a screen around it (made out of a cardboard box with an open top for ventilation) so that it does not interfere with day-to-day living.

The product was easy to setup and we already have first plants grow as expected:-) The display shows you the days since the garden started which is super exciting. The light is super bright, but it feels like a bit of sunshine in the kitchen, but might be unsuited for rooms you appreciate darkness.
