Red Lantern Long Life Cabinet, Dark Rosewood

I was so surprised at the quality and beauty of this chest. It fit perfectly with my decor!!! I didn’t want to assemble, and this came assembled!! It was packed very good!! I’m so happy with my choice!!!

I ordered this because it appeared to match a cute rosewood secretary I have had for ages. The style and carving are very similar ... but the color was darker than I had hoped. Oh, well .... you order online, and you take your chances with the colors, right? The cabinet does appear to be sturdy. It was well packed and arrived in great shape. The slide-out drawer IS a bit "fiddly," and you do have to open the doors completely to pull it out. Be careful not to pull it completely out, or you may have trouble getting it back onto the sliders. If you are looking for a dark rosewood (not the redder shade), this could be a great option.

This cabinet is just lovely and surprisingly well made. It has a top drawer and two shelves. Note that in order for the top drawer to open, the doors must be able to swing completely open. Because I'm putting it in a small space, I've had to remove the drawer to make it usable.

Very pleased-especially for the price. Dark rosewood finish gave it a rich look. Shape gave it charm, inlays completed Oriental theme.

I would have liked for it to be just a little larger in width and height. It looks small in its dining room area. It is well constructed and the finish is very nice.

I like the design and it looks very nice but it is not perfect. One of the doors has a corner that looks like the edge has been chipped a bit prior to finishing since it has a finish over the chip. The doors also don't quite match up when closed and should not be pushed in all the way or they go in a bit too far inside the cabinet. I have to carefully close the doors to try to match them up as much as possible, one door looks a little taller and, depending on how I close the doors, either the bottom or top of one door sticks out a little more than the other (it is not in a perfect vertical plane). Overall, if you don't look too close, it looks very nice. And as someone else pointed out, the top drawer inside the cabinet can't be pulled out without making sure the doors are open almost all the way.

I just received my cabinet and am very pleased with it and the condition of it upon arrival!My husband remarked on how well it was a packed-a box within a box with extra packingmaterial. No chips, no dents, doors line up perfectly. I can't say enough about it.Wish I was computer literate enough to send a photo, sorry!

this piece appears as advertised and was delivered on time. as far as construction, inside the two doors there is a drawer. however, to open the drawer, you must open the doors all the way so that they do not interfere wit h door operation. then, the drawer almost slides open, but you must fiddle with it to make it work. too, it, or my tile floor, is uneven, and it wobbles. easy to fix. it is a very pretty piece that I am using in my powder room to hold toilet paper and the size is perfect.
