Super important knowledge if your an insomniac
This test was very helpful. I suffer from terrible insomnia and I was recently diagnosed with hypothyroidism. When I asked my endocrinologist to do further hormone testing to figure out my sleep, she wouldn’t. So I ordered my own testing.I got the results 5 days later and it showed I have cortisol dysfunction with it being high at night (why I can’t sleep) and low in the morning (why I am so exhausted in the morning) and also estrogen dominance (low progesterone). With these results in mind, I am tackling the adrenal problems and progesterone issues and I’m already sleeping better knowing which supplements to focus on!I will test again in a few months to see where I am. I will show these results to my endo, but sadly she probably won’t offer me any help with them. This is a great self help tool.Just be aware that it is super challenging to generate that much saliva but so worth it.

Comprehensive test
Bought this to see how bad my Adrenal Fatigue is. I knew I had it based on my many symptoms and sudden weight change, but not to what degree. The kit is pretty expensive, but worth it. If your insurance won't pay for this test when ordered by a Dr, I'm guessing the IDENTICAL test at the Dr's office would be much more! The results definitely require a highly trained (in Adrenal Function) professional. I am seeing a Naturopathic Dr. that is trained in Adrenal Function bc a lot of the Dr's offices I contacted don't specialize in reading the results. Results are not completely clear to a layperson. The manufacturer suggests you take the results to a Dr. for interpretation. I agree.

Informative and interesting purchase
I got this kit and followed the instructions for collecting the saliva samples x 4 with times recorded. I then mailed it in, and about 7-8 days later? I got an email with the results as a pdf, graphs and text and additional information. I'd been taking Dr. Wilson's Adrenal Rebuilder for over 2 yrs.Well the cortisol levels were in range during the 1st 3 times, but low prior to bedtime. Hormones a bit low, but DHEA-S was very low, so am attempting low-dose DHEA to see how it makes me feel.Test Country kept me informed during the entire process, sending updates upon receipt, and then the results. Overall I am happy with the process.

Long turn around, just see a doctor
It takes an absurdly long time to get results and when I emailed support to make sure they got my sample, they simply didn't respond. Considering the price and the fact they aren't legally allowed to give you medical diagnosis, just see a doctor.

GREAT FOR HORMONE IMBALANCE TESTING!
This is the 2nd time I've ordered and used this test. In November of last year, one of my friends told me I had a hormone imbalance. I was on my cycle and venting about how heavy it was, along with how cold my feet and hands were... She pointed me to a Dr. Candace Burch who specializes in hormones. I used this test as it was more affordable than the one she was offering and my friend was right. I am 28 years old but I had the hormones of a 60-year-old woman, a postmenopause woman!! Candace created an action plan for me that completely shifted my diet, supplements, workout, and life. At the time I didn't realize my hormone imbalance was causing me to have massive anxiety from being wired and tired all of the time, my adrenal glands were fatigued and my cortisol levels where all which ways they should be at certain times of the day. Not to mention, I suffered from painful periods, insomnia, constipation, etc. Basically every symptom of a hormone imbalance. Fast forward to now, I feel a whole lot better. I still know there's a lot of room for improvement, but my cycles, anxiety, stress levels, brain fog, and etc have gotten better. I retook the test in May only to confirm my suspicions, MY HORMONES WERE GETTING BETTER. My hormones are now in the normal range of a 28-year-old, on the low side of the range, but still way better than they were! I plan to use this test once a year to see where they are at. Who would've known it was my hormones making me cranky, inefficient, and tired all of the time. So glad I found this.

There is bad and some good
I was suffering from extreme exhaustion, erratic periods, sensitivity to light, weight gain, mouth soars, insomnia, frequent uti infections... the list went on and on....and well...on! I was a mess! I went to 7 different doctors complaining...shouting that something was very wrong with me but no one could offer a solution. I did this test on my own out of pure frustration. I feel conflicted about this test. It showed my estrogen and dhea were very low. Then it gave an entire page of "what it could be." It was all very vague and not necessarily helpful. I felt very frustrated with the list of possibilities. I could google my symptoms to know the "what it could be." I gather then are vague as some sort of legal loophole. When I brought the test results to my doctor he laughed at me and told me I got scammed. It felt like another punch in the face. I really started to believe I was crazy or was making myself sick because no one believed my symptoms. HOWEVER...The good of this test was that it sparked my doctor to dig deeper into my hormones and thyroid. I think he was angry I was not taking his advice...whatever the case it put a fire in him. Through the blood work --inspired by this test, I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's disease. I am now taking meds for Hashimoto's and my hormones. I feel like a new woman. While this test did not meet my expectations because of it's vagueness, I am grateful it pushed my doctor to dig deeper.

Fast and easy testing with good information
Easy and fast! I got my results the next week. I was surprised how much information they gave on the results. No need to have a doctor to explain it to you.

Worth the price
If your doctor isn't open minded about trying saliva testing then it may not be worth it. I had several blood tests done for hormone imbalance but they would always come back normal with the excuse that it depends on what time of the month you have your blood drawn. I did the saliva testing and found I was progesterone and DHEA deficient. I showed my ob/gyn doctor and she told me that I wasted my money. I now know that it all wasn't in my mind. I plan on finding a new doc who is open minded about other tests.
