The Picture Book of Natural Wonders: A Gift Book for Alzheimer's Patients and Seniors with Dementia (Picture Books - Nature)

Bought this book and the flower book for my Mother-in-Law who has been dealing with dementia for over a year. I was expecting a book not a pamphlet. Although the pictures are beautiful..... pretty disappointing.

A marvelous spirit-brightener for seniors of many levels of capability, particularly anyone who once enjoyed travel and nature. While the lack of text may work well for some, my mom was disappointed (even put off at first) by the lack of captions identifying each featured natural wonder. Would still highly recommend.

Purchased this book for a relative that is struggling with progressive memory loss. This is a thin book with large glossy pictures of famous sites. Older adults can look through the book and find familiar places--often ones they have traveled to, and reminisce about travels and adventures. This is wonderful for cognitive stimulation and to decrease memory loss that accompanies dementia. It is also a wonderful gift for older adults who are not struggling with memory loss as it is a great conversation starter.

A lot smaller than I expected. Cheap paper so photos aren’t vivid.

Pretty pictures. Very vibrant colors. I got this and several other picture books for my dad for Christmas. He has Alzheimer's and really liked them. We should have had him open them last because he didn't want to open anything else ! Will be on the lookout for more!

Product is fine. Packaging was not properly sealed and the book had to be dried off after we opened it.
