This is a very solid and sturdy item, however, instruction diagram is rubbish, and I could not get it together without unscrewing all screw and using my common sense and visual ability. The arrow shaft was slightly bent, too solid to straighten, but as it was just what I wanted for a garden plinth, did not want to risk returning then not be able to replace. Thar being said ,I do love it.

A lot nicer than I expected, looks like it's very old and authentic, good weight and solid...much nicer than others I've bought over the years for similar money.

I have a plinth and it fitted exactly.it looks great .it's quite small but it'svery sturdy,great value.

What matters: It looks very stylish and beautifully aged on a small plinth in the garden. A very good price.However, it takes a while to work out how the parts can be assembled. The instructions are useless and in the picture it is assembled in the wrong way because the gnomon shadow does not fall on the hour numbers. Not a very accurate time piece, but there is probably not much sun anyway...

It was bought as a gift and the recipient was very happy with it - finally! It was VERY difficult to assemble due to the poor instruction diagram.

I am delighted with this sun dial, it looks wonderful mounted on an old re-purposed gate post.

Decent product,arrived quickly,the only downside is the way it was described regarding the measurements,very misleading

Very nice if a little small, definitely needs a plinth.
